Chapter 7: The Pear-shaped star

While Skye was on her first mission as a police pup herself,Chase and Constellation Skye are on their way to the Star column forest to look for the Pear-shaped star

Chase's POV
I can say that we've been walking for hours already and my paws are starting to feel sore...ugh...how long are we walking now? I remembered Constellation Everest saying that the fountain is 10 kilometers from Dreamscape,and I've been walking for like 7 now... "Are we there yet?" I exclaimed in exhaust. "Yup,almost there" Constellation Skye said. "Finally...how come you're not tired of walking all of this?" I said and she responded with "I don't breathe,I don't even have lungs. Also,I'm never tired,but we do sleep because we wanted to. We're not tired,but we get sleepy too". We approached the forest and it amazed me,but also confused me at the same time. The trees and leaves here are also made of stars,and since they're all shining bright,it's hard to see the thing we're looking for in the first place...the Pear-shaped star. "Uh Constellation Skye??? Do you think you can tell the difference of the leaves' color and the pear we're looking for?" I said with a gulp. "Sure,it's right here...I hope no one's picked it yet" Constellation Skye said. "What do you mean?" I asked and she responded with this: "it's rare to find a pear because this forest grows these pears on random places,even though they're different. And once it's picked, it'll take a whole month for another one to grow". Oh no...this is not good...I really hope no one's picked that up yet...

Constellation Skye's POV
Well,actually... The pear being able to grow for months and the fact it can grow on different trees is not true,in fact...I don't even know where the pear is... I didn't know why I lied to him but I guess there's something in my non-existent heart that tells me I should keep him for myself,even though he has a girlfriend back in his own world. At this point,I maybe am falling in love with him... We started to enter the forest and the quest to look for the Pear-shaped star begins. We searched everywhere...from above the branches and from the ground as well,and so far there's no Pear-shaped star... it's taking us hours and I guess we're not even halfway towards searching the whole forest...wait a minute,where's Chase?! "Chase? CHASE?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" I shouted,looking for him...oh where could he be?! I ran all around the forest,from where we were the last time,to the last point where we tried to search from above the trees. After what seems to be minutes of finding,it's no use! I lost him and I don't even know where I am now...I'm also lost...oh no...I hope Chasey is alri- WHAT THE?! DID I JUST SAID THAT?!

Chase's POV
"Constellation Skye?! Constellation Skye?!!" I shouted while running around the forest,constantly looking for her...oh no, we're both lost and now I feel even more exhausted... I sat down for a while and someone crept over me at my back. When I turned,I just happen to see a Constellation version of Marshall and Rubble. Hmm,looks like Everest and Sweetie are awake at this time... "Uh hey?" I said and when they noticed I saw them,they both screamed and this Marshall fell on his paws and fell along with this Rubble... I went over to look at them. "Marshall? Rubble?" I exclaimed in wonder... "Constellation Everest told us about you. We were so happy to help you out" Constellation Marshall said. "Constellation Skye is lost,but don't worry,three of our constellation friends are looking for her now" Constellation Rubble said. "Oh thank goodness... anyways thanks for the help,but I am having a hard time carrying my exhausted body now" I said while trying to stand up with my sore legs. "Now now,Chase...if you're tired in this forest,just go look for a star fruit to eat" Constellation Marshall suggested. "Where?" I asked. "Follow me! I know a place where a bunch of them grows" Constellation Rubble said as he lead the way and Constellation Marshall and I followed behind him. Constellation Rubble does know where a bunch of these foods are since he's basically Rubble,so I guess he also eats too much as well.

Constellation Skye's POV
"Oh Chase...where are you?" I said and after what seems to be forever,I decided to sat down and "Ow...watch the tail..." said someone's voice that isn't me. I got surprised as I realized I was sitting on Constellation Sweetie's tail. "Oh I'm so sorry" I said. "Relax,I'm fine,but gosh you need to calm down,sis" Constellation Sweetie said while Constellation Zuma and Constellation Ella came out. "Hi guys" I said in a shy way. "We heard you can't find the Pear-shaped star,so we're here to help you out,but this is the only thing we can do for you" Constellation Zuma said and I nodded. "About Chase...Marshall and Rubble are with him" Constellation Ella added. "Oh well girl,the Pear-shaped star is that way to your left. Just keep walking that path and when you see a rock,turn to the right,and you should be there" Constellation Sweetie said. "Thank you guys,I owe you all" I said as I started to run at the direction while they slowly disappeared,meaning they're off to their jobs.

No one's POV
Chase: Thanks, Constellation Marshall and Constellation Rubble

Constellation Marshall: No problem,bud

Constellation Rubble: We may not see you again soon,but we're glad to help you :)

Chase: And goodluck guys

Constellation Marshall and Constellation Rubble: *disappears*

Chase: I guess Everest and Sweetie are asleep

Constellation Skye: Chase!

Chase: Constellation Skye!

Constellation Skye: Oh btw,the Pear-shaped star is that way

Chase: Let's go!

2 minutes later...

Constellation Skye: There it is!

Chase: Whoa...the Pear-shaped star...it's so big...

Constellation Skye: Well,what are we waiting for? Let's get climbing

Chase's POV
Me and Constellation Skye began climbing the tall tree...it was so hard to climb since I don't have hands and the fact that I am still alive in my world,so my grip in the branches are a bit unstable...We finally reached the Pear-shaped star and tried to reach it,but- "WHOA! oof" Constellation Skye said as she slipped on a branch and successfully landed on another branch below... "I'm okay,just keep reaching" she said and I willingly tried to but the branch I'm standing on is starting to break... "Uh oh" I gasped in my mind. The branch finally breaks and I took my last chance by jumping and successfully grabbed the Pear-shaped star. I got it,but now I'm falling to the ground... "AAAAAHHH!!" I screamed. "Gotcha!" Constellation Skye said while grabbing me with her paws. We went down the tree and I thanked her. "Thank you,Constellation Skye" I said and she let out a giggle. "You're welcome" she said. "We better start moving into our destination to get our last ingredient" she added and I nodded.
