Infinity
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Ashley questioned me as I sat back in the wooden chair that was placed in the hotel room, a towel draped over my shoulders as Michael was currently opening a new box of hair dye. Except, the hair dye wasn't for him, it's for me.
"I'm absolutely positive." I smiled brightly. Even though we're still in Japan for the tour, I thought that it was time for a change, a change in me that is. I had a few days to think about what happened between me and Andy, and came to the conclusion that I won't ever be able to love someone else until I learn to love myself. So now I'm currently trying to become happier with myself, and what better way to love myself than to do something I've always wanted to do; dye my hair. "Michaels' done this multiple times, he knows what he's doing."
'"I know, but still! You're dying your hair blue!" Ashley exclaimed as she shook my shoulders.
"Your point? I've always wanted to do this."
"But what if the fans don't approve or you don't like it?"
"Oh please, I'm going to love it." I said flatly. "Now, aren't you, Ciara, and the rest of the lads going out?" I questioned.
"Yeah, they're all waiting on me, so I better get going. When I get back though, you're showing me your hair." Ashley gave me a playful glare before hugging me tightly, Once she let go she ran out of the room to join everyone else.
"So, how's that dye coming along?" I ask Michael as I look over at him, watching as he poured the dark blue gunk into a black coloring bowl.
"It's coming a long great, thanks for asking." He replied sarcastically as he grabbed the coloring brush before moving behind me. "Infinity Sixx, prepare to have blue hair." I could just hear the smirk on his face,
I've been anticipating this for a few days now and I'm beyond happy that It's finally dying my hair a unnatural color. I mean, I've dyed my hair before, in fact it's currently bleach-blond, but I've always wanted to die it blue.
A shiver rolled down my back as he slapped the hair dye onto my head. "Mikey! It's cold!" I whined as he started to coat my hair in the coloring substance.
"Hey, you asked for this." He chuckled, probably shaking his head. It's true though, I did ask for this, and I honestly should've expected it to be as cold as it was.
"How long does this stuff need to stay on my head?" I raised my eyebrow slightly.
"Between twenty and thirty minutes, but the more it processes, the more vibrant the color, but if it's processed too much it'll kill your hair."
A small giggled escaped my mouth. "You sound a lot like a hairdresser, you know."
"Well, I've done this more times than I can count, so I guess you can call me a Hair Color Specialist." He grinned, taking the coloring brush away from my hair. "Alright you're all coated." He said as he sat the coloring ball and brush down and took off the disposable gloves he was wearing. "You just gotta wait now."
I leaned back into my seat, letting the dye process in my hair. For the next half an hour all we really did was chit-chat and laugh, just enjoying each others company, before an alarm on my phone went off, signaling it's time to wash all the dye out.
I was quickly ushered into the bathroom by Michael. Well, looks like we might be turning this hotel bathtub blue. He instructed me to kneel down by the bathtub and flip my hair into the tub, so I did, as he grabbed the shower head and turned the water on.
"Mikey, I'm fairly capable of washing my own hair." I closed my eyes, feeling the warm water run down my face.
"I'm only doing it that way you get all of the dye out." He grabbed some shampoo and lathered it into my hair.
"I know how to get hair dye out of my hair, I can do it myself." I groaned.
"Oh shush Finn, be happy I'm doing this for you." He rinsed out the shampoo and started washing my hair with conditioner. "Let me release my inner hairdresser."
I rolled my eyes at him playfully. "Fine, fine, keep working Mr. Michael The Hairdresser."
He continued to wash my hair, making sure no more product lied within, before sitting me up and wrapping my hair into the towel and started to dry it for me.
"Your hair is going to look awesome." He grinned widely as he worked my hair in the towel. "If you want, I can blow dry it too.
I shook my head and laughed a bit. "You really are just a hairdresser in hiding, aren't you?"
He grinned sheepishly as he shrugged his shoulders, "Maybe, but I also just like spending some time with you too."
A small blush came onto my cheeks as I glanced down at my feet, feeling him place his index finger under my chin and lift it up so I was looking at him.
Michael
I watched as she bashfully looked down at her feet. Dear god, I thought to myself, she's so adorable. I put my finger under her chin and lifted her head up, smiling down at her sweetly as I looked into her eyes. I've never really took the time to examine her face, I never took note of the clouds of freckles that decorated her face, or the way that her hazel eyes seemed to have a sunflower like effect to them. I never noticed how rosy her cheeks could turn when she blushed, or just how red and soft her lips looked.
I bit my bottom lip gently as I stared at her lips, wanting nothing more than to feel how soft they are against my own. As I stared at her, I barley even noticed myself leaning in closer, until her nose brushed gently against mine. Our lips were just about to touch, I could already taste them, I can already feel her body pressed against mine in such a way once more.... until she practically sneezes in my face.
"Oh, crap, I'm sorry Mikey." She apologized.
"It's okay Finn, these things happen." I say quickly, an awkward silence following after.
"... Anyways, I'm, gonna dry and brush my hair.." She finally said as she moved herself away from me, taking the towel off her head to reveal waves of blue. Blue really does suit her.
"Alright, I'll be out there,: I said before awkwardly exiting the bathroom.
I was this close THIS CLOSE to finally kissing her again! But, of course with my luck, she just had to sneeze! What if she just forced herself to sneeze because she didn't want to kiss me? IS it even possible to force yourself to sneeze?! I groan softly as I flop down onto the couch while shaking my head disapprovingly at myself. I sat in a small silence as I waited for Infinity to emerge from the bathroom so I could see her finished look, I bet she looks fabulous.
As if she could read my thoughts, she came out of the bathroom a moment later, a wide smile on her face. "Mikey! I love my hair! It looks amazing!" She spun around happily, her new do flying into her face, causing me to laugh.
"You look beautiful Finn, it suits you well." I said honestly. She's beyond beautiful, really, she always has been, even before she had her new blue hair. I remember when I first met her when she moved to Australia, I thought she was pretty damn cute, but as I got to know her she just bloomed even more until she became the immaculate girl she is now. I know I shouldn't believe this, but I believe I'm falling for her again. Curse you Infinity Sixx, for capturing my heart, and never letting it go.
