I turned the knob and opened the door of the prefab. There, I was welcomed by Rei-chan and Tito who were currently sitting down in a chair.

"Kat," pangunguna ni tito.

"Tito..." I mutter.

"Starting tomorrow, you will be back in the first string." Anunsyo ni tito na ikinagulat ko ng husto.

My eyes went wide and my mouth formed into an 'o'. I blinked a couple of times before the announcement sank in. I jumped out of joy and immediately embraced Tito in a hug.

"Kyaaaaahhh!!! Tito! Thank you so muuch!!" A stream of tears went streaming down my face.

"Oh my goodness! You're back!!!" A loud bang from the door caught all our attention and it revealed Ira with a beaming smile.

"Iraaa!!!" Naiiyak na tawag ko sa kanya and I greeted her with a hug.

"I miss you on the team." Bulong niya sa akin, hugging me more tightly.

"Rei, assemble a team of first-year students." Tito announced with a stern look on his face, folding his arms across his chest.

"Huh?" Rei-chan blinked, she seemed like she got startled by Tito's announcement.

"I want to see if there's anyone I can use in a real game." Seryosong salita ni tito.

Oh! Tito's going to select freshies he deem ready for matches just like last year!

Rei-chan slightly push her glasses up, a smirk forming on the corner of her lips. "I see. So, when do we start?"

"Tomorrow. The first-years will be up against the second and third years." Tugon ni tito.

"Understood. Then, I'll get going to announce it to them." Rei-chan bid farewell to us before she went out of the prefab.

Umupo kaming dalawa ni Ira sa bench na nasa loob. I could feel the intensity of Tito's stare at me.

"Kat," I got startled by the seriousness of his voice, "why did you kicked the trashcans awhile ago?"

I stare at him in pure shock. How did he knew?! "Um... be-because..." I can't find words to respond! Should I tell him that Suzuki was mom's picked out suitor for me? I took a deep breath, matching the intensity of his look, "Suzuki Asahi. We talked awhile ago. He told me he was sent here by mom to be my suitor."

Ira gasped upon hearing what I revealed. "No way!" She exclaimed. "Aunt Catarina knew we're here!?"

"No, no, she's not... yet."

"What do you mean 'yet', Kat?" She panicked.

"I told Suzuki that I wouldn't care anymore if he'll tell mom that I ran away and that I am here." Mahinahong tugon ko sa kanya and it panicked her even more.

"HAAA?? ANOO?!" She immediately stood up in panicked, walking back in forth in front of me.

"Why would Rin sent a kid here to be your suitor?" Tito butts in, a look of question written on his face.

"To make us ready and comfortable for next year's marriage. Mom must be expecting I'd fall in love with the boy." I responded.

Tito heaves a heavy sigh, "That Catarina!" He sighed once again, "Well, as of now, we can't do anything about this. Be direct to Suzuki if possible."
