(Name) gawked at the screen as they realized what they were looking at. They were voted for. But only four people could advance to the Final Vote. They didn't know how it would work but they only hoped that luck would be on their side.
"Sara... You...!!" Q-Taro looked at Sara with disbelief.
"It's just like I said," Sara insisted. "I'm not the Sacrifice, I'm a Commoner."
"Four will advance to the final vote," Gashu said. "Sou Hiyori."
Shin looked uneasy.
"Kanna Kizuchi."
Kanna shivered.
"Keiji Shinogi."
Keiji stayed silent.
"Nao Egokoro."
"W-Why me...?!" Nao asked.
"(Name) Hiyori, as you did not reach the average amount of votes, you will be excluded from the Final Vote." Gashu gave (Name) a soft smile.
Kanna quietly sobbed.
"This... isn't... right..." Nao murmured.
A small amount of time passed as everyone sat in silence.
"Lift your heads up!!" Sara shouted. "We've always done what we had to do...! No matter how cruel it is, you can't stop!!"
"But..." Kanna faltered.
"Kanna, we're not your enemies...!" Sara said. "Even if someone is the Sacrifice... We move in the same direction! We talk, and we advance the discussion...!!"
"Sara...!!" Nao said, looking a bit more hopeful.
Keiji chuckled. "Right you are."
"The real battle begins here..." Shin said.
"All right...!" Alice said. "First, it's time for those of us who weren't picked to guide the discussion! Incidentally, I am a Commoner... Be at ease..."
"Muscle gorilla!" Gin yelled. "It's not the time to shrivel up, meow! Let's remember the card trades in order, woof!"
"Y-Yeah...!" Q-Taro said.
"Now, please grasp your fate with your own hands. May you not all perish..." Gashu quietly sat in the chair again.
The first thing the group discussed this time were the trades. There had been quite a few, with most of them not having any explanation. Keiji was able to figure out the majority of the trades on his own, but the mystery of the Sacrifice still remained far into their discussion. When Q-Taro finally came forward about the series of events, it didn't shock (Name) that somehow, their name had been involved too.
"I meant to cooperate... with Sara... with everyone!!" Q-Taro said. "But I got used for convenience! I'm pathetic!! A pathetic adult!! The third trade... My Sacrifice bein' sent to Sara... It wasn't me! It was Sou and (Name)'s doing!!"
(Name) sighed, feeling tired of constantly being blamed for Shin's actions.
"Say what...?!" Alice asked.
"We don't know what you're talking about," Shin said.
"Sou and (Name) knew!!" Q-Taro said. "They knew I had the Sacrifice!!"
