Backstory

Let's make our own secret

Doyoung is friends with the boy next door, Yedam. 

Both are delighted that they share a mutual interest in basketball. No afterschool day has gone by without some rounds in the small neighbourhood's park. They are happy and comfortably content with each other's presence.

However, Yedam takes his training seriously while Doyoung plays merely for fun. The different dream persuasion slowly drifts them apart, adding onto the bittersweet farewell of Yedam's family deciding to move due to his frequent travelling abroad for his many lessons preparing.

Doyoung sometimes looks back at their past memories, proud of the older's achievements as a result of his nonstop hard work. But the regretful feeling of not being able to do anything about the situation lingers in his heart.

Doyoung wishes he confesses his love for Yedam sooner. 

School life manages to distract him from misery;
friends, dancing, biology are his companion. 

Yet, he is taken back to discover his love game is still staying strong despite the missing half decade. When he is on his way home, Doyoung catches the sight of Yedam's figure..

standing alone in the park, 

with a basketball ball by his side, 

staring deeply at the nearby staircase

that has their initials' carve engrave on it.
