Chapter 20- first activity

Also, little refresher for people who are bad at names: Jeremy is going to be in this chapter, not a big role but just reminder, he was the guy on Ranboo's volleyball team that was training with him.

-Ranboo POV-

The first hour we got here, we had no activities planned with the class to unpack our stuff and get to our rooms, which left Tubbo and me alone in our room.

Our room was pretty small, with two seperate beds on each side of the wall with a window next to the right bed. I got the bed on the left and Tubbo the one next to the window. There also was a small table between the two and a bathroom next to the entrance.

When we were done putting our stuff away, we still had 30 minutes left. Tubbo was laying down onto his bed playing with his phone and I was just sitting on mine. He was trying to hold back a giggle because of something funny he on his phone. I felt my heart jump up and down inside of my chest, as if it was trying to break out and fly towards the boy that made my heart feel this way.

Suddenly he looked at me and I quickly tried to look away but he caught me staring. A grin formed onto his face.

"Havin' fun, big man?" he said while rolling onto his side, propping his head onto his hand so he could look at me better.

If my face wasn't a blushing yet, it definitely was now.

"I- uh- sorry... I didn't mean-" the brunette burst out laughing. "Don't worry, Boo. I was just messing with you," I laughed a bit with him although I was still kinda embarrassed.

We had to go to the main hall of the building for our first activity. We were going to go to the beach and play some beach volleyball.

The beach wasn't that far away from where we were staying; it only took about 5 minutes to get there. The net was already set up as our teacher started explaining.

"Okay kids, today we're gonna play some beach volleyball, its like normal volleyball, but on a beach." she started, some people were giggling because of her awkwardness, " Erm... yeah... So, you will have to play in three groups. Tommy, Ranboo and Jeremy, you three can choose your teams." Oh crap, why me again? "Each team will have seven members, each match six of you will have to play against th opposite team while the extra player gets some rest and tracks the scores."

Tommy was the first one to choose, his decision was quickly announced: "Dream! C'me here!" he yelled laughing. Dream gladly made his way over to his friend. Tommy then glared at me, it was my turn to pick.

I looked around my classmates and my eyes fell onto the cute boy who I share a room with. "Tubbo," I said calmly.

Tubbo smiled at me and walked towards me. We both shared a laugh and then it was Jeremy's turn.

When the teams were divided, It was time for the first match: team Ranboo vs. team Jeremy. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of scared of Jeremy. Yes, he is a pretty nice guy to talk to, but once he's on the field he turns into a full on beast. He's the reason we usually win and now he's also got some other guys from the volleyballteam by his side. I hope this will go well.

-Tubbo POV-

We got ready for our first game against Jeremy, I don't really know the guy that well but I heard he was pretty good at sports, especially volleyball. I looked at Ranboo and he was fidgeting with his hands, it was pretty obvious he was stressed. I went up to him and grabbed his hand to still him.

"Hey, everything will be fine, Boo," I whispered, "It's just a game you don't have to worry." " Thanks Tubbs, but now I am THE leader of a team and I'm not sure how I will do this. When you're a captain you have to be the foundation of your team, you have to have everyone's trust, and I barely know any of my teammates now."

I looked at the others qnd I knew most of them on a mutuals level. "I'll help then, I know most of them fairly okay. I'll be your second in command!" I did a salutation, "At your service, my captain."

That got a laugh out of him. "Okay then, my right-hand man," he turned towards where our teammates were standing, "let's do this."
