IN A MATTER OF WEEKS, MEGAN LOST ANYONE AND EVERYONE CLOSE TO HER. Whether they drifted and spaced themselves away from her, or were physically far away, Megan lost them. The only person who hadn't left was Eli. They boy had been there for Megan when even her own sister wasn't, which meant Megan truly was feeling guilty for snapping at him, but in the end of the day, he deserved it. Everyone had been trying so hard to make things right, including her. After Miguel was injured, she thought he would take time to self-reflect, but he never changed.

Megan had chosen not to go to school the following day, for reasons as simple as, she didn't want to see Eli. She knew she would have to face him, but she needed her distance, at least from him. However, Eli wasn't the only reason why she didn't show up to school. Since Megan heard of Robby's arrest, she juggled with thoughts of him. Megan wondered if she should call him, let him know someone was thinking off him, or if she should visit him, show him she cared.

The girl struggled with that decision for days after the arrest went public. She wanted the boy to know someone truly cared for him, and he had someone there. Megan just didn't want to upset anyone by doing so. She knew it would cause havoc, but the boy was human. Robby needed someone, and that made Megan make up her mind in an instant.

Megan couldn't stop herself as she drove toward the Detention Center. It had almost been as if her mind and body had been on hard drive, sending her there with one person in mind. Megan didn't know what she would say to the boy when she saw him, but she knew she needed to see him.

"Hi, um, I'm here to see Robby Keene..." Megan told the lady working the reception desk softly, unsure what do say, considering she had never exactly visited someone in jail.

"Miss, you need to call to visit someone." The lady told her.

"Shit." Megan hissed as she turned around.

"Wait." the lady called out for her before Megan could leave. "What's your relation to the boy?"

Megan gazed at the lady to see if she was kidding or not. When she realized she wasn't, Megan made her way back. "Uh..." she trailed off as she started to think. She wasn't really sure what her relation was. She could say friends, but then again, they had almost kissed. "Close friend."

The lady nodded at the girl before typing away on her computer, eventually getting an officer's attention. "Officer Thomas. Can you please escort this young lady to the visitation center? She's here for Robby Keene."

Megan felt her throat go dry at her words. All of the sudden the girl's heart started beating as reality started to sink in. Megan watched as the officer nodded, making his way over toward the girl as he lightly grabbed her arm, "Come with me."
