The bell finally goes. I put my laptop away in my bag and slowly walk to my homeroom. Yes, another drop-dead day at school. Head down I walk to my locker and bang my foot against it hard. "What in the world is wrong with you babe?" I shove my bag in my locker, while looking up to se my friend like sister, Isabella, aka Dizzy. She got down on her knees and opened her locker. "You look really down Krew, tell me, what's up?" She snaps. She calls my krew, and she's continently telling me that the Krewella and EDM obsession fever will be over soon. I sure hope not!
" The sky".
She glares at me, likes I have taken her banana, as she is obsess with bananas.
"I just woke up in a bad mood. Trust me, I'm fine!" I grab my bag and walk into the house group room. I smash my books on to the table and turn on the lights. I turn on my laptop to kill time, as I wait for the whole class to come. I walk to the whiteboard and in massive words I write the Krewella logo. I want krewella to get more fans, I really want Jahan and Yasmine to feel like they have actually made it, but then I don't, because I want them to keep doing well in their singing, writing, Djing and so on. I sit at my desk and start hitting buttons while I get furious with my laptop not working. " Stupid, pathetic, waste of money, that's what you are." I yell at it. I slam the lid down and stare at the board. It was a bit quite outside. To quite. I turn my head to look out to the hallway. No one was there. No one. Just nada. I stood up leaving my books on the desk behind and walk out to the hallway. I hear someone talking loud on the microphone and an extremely loud crashing of heels on the ground.
"Excuse me, what on earth are you doing?" I look up to see an unfamiliar teacher staring at me.
'Well, to be honest, I have no idea, and where is everyone?"
She glared at me hard, and I swear her eyes were going to come out of her head.
"There at assembly, off you go, before I give you a detention "she hisses. Assembly? Since when was it a Monday? I turn around and start running to assembly.
"But really! A detention because I didn't know assembly was on?" I muttered. I finally get to the hall and everyone is starting the national anthem. My house group sits at the front, and I don't want to walk in during their singing. So I wait until its over, and everyone has taken their seats again. My eyes stick to the ground watching every movement that my feet make. I can feel the whole school doing the same thing to me as I walk to my seat. I sit down and I can hear my house group teacher calling my name. "Carly.... CARLY! Why are you so late, this is your, I mean this is a special assembly. Done be late next time." She says as loud as she could without disturbing anyone. "I'm so sorry, I just-"
"No just!"
I look straight ahead at the stage and every single teachers eyes are on me. What in the world is happening here? Assembly carries on, and I get completely with the fairies that I start humming ' live for the night'. I can feel something on my shoulder, I look down expecting a fly, but it's one of the new little kids. I don't even know her name. "Be quite Carl! The principle about to speak and I can only hear good in one ear." She looks pretty serious, and I try not to laugh, because her eyes are narrowed and her lips are popped out. Just like the angry unknown teacher before.
"Gezz, everyone woken up on the wrong side of the bed today aye?" I muttered. The principle comes on stage and goes on and on about how we should where our uniform correctly and how we need to clean up more often. I get so bored, that drips of dribble come out of my mouth. I suck it up and make a slurping noise. My name coming like an echo from the back of the hall, and suddenly 100 people are yelling at me. Not thinking at all, I stand up and yell. "WHAT DO YOU WANT?"
Today was not my day.
"Carly could you please make your way on stage, and next time, please don't shout."
