"here you go big baby". monica said holding the fork towards jack's mouth, maggie cut her eyes at monica. pulling her closer by her sides jack chewed the eggs from her fork, "curly". she whined, "what?". he asked sipping on his ice coffee, "where is yo plate of food curly?". she whined as he ate another one of her grapes,

slapping his hand jack dropped the strawberry "now you know not to eat my strawberries". she said laughing softly, maggie cleared her throat, jack looked over at his mother who was holding a wine glass, "good morning sweetheart". she said, jack nodded as monica attempted to slide off jack's lap.

"monica!". kaden screamed in delight, running around the corner he opened his arms dropping her fork monica wiped her hands smiling brightly at the child, "cutie!". she screamed in delight, wrapping his arms around her she picked him up sitting beside jack, "hi sweetie". she said as kaden held a dinosaur toy, "look at what my uncle gave me". he said excitedly, "buddy monica is eating you wanna show her it later?". jack said as kaden's smile dropped,

monica kicked him under the table making jack hiss gripping his leg, standing up she grabbed kaden's hand, "you want to go outside and play sweetie?". he nodded, jack watched as they walked towards the backyard.

maggie sat across from jack sipping from her mug, "ma we need to talk". she raised an eyebrow turning her phone off, "what's wrong sweetie?". she softly asked, "it's about monica". maggie's smile dropped instantly replaced with a frown.

"you need to apologize to her". he said as she gasped, "apologize? if anything her ghetto black ass needs to keep her mouth shut". she gritted, "ma are you serious right now!?". he asked in disbelief, "what? i'm only telling the truth! she's disrespectful. how is she even a registered nurse!?". she asked in disbelief shaking her head, jack stared at his mother flabbergasted.

"jackman i didn't raise you to be this clueless! open your eyes monica is using you". she screamed as he stood up, "ma you are out of line! you either apologize or i'll never speak to you again". he gritted maggie frowned gripping her wine glass tightly.

monica out of breath and tired walked back inside with kaden who was holding her hand tightly, he grinned at jack who was eyeing his mother,

brian who was at work unlocked the front door, "uncle bri!". kaden screamed to his uncle, rushing towards him maggie drank the rest of her wine before she rushed over towards monica slapping her hard across her bare face pushing her hard onto the floor.

monica who hugged kaden promising to take him to the zoo pulling away monica wiped her teary face, gripping her purse and bag tightly in her grasp she walked downstairs "hey where are you going?". jack asked alarmed, standing up quickly he blocked her path glancing over her bruising cheek. monica ignored him the constant tears running down her face as she attempted to calm down, "jack move". she whispered softly, cupping her chin monica gently slapped his hand away.
