This entry is going to be short, because I am so busy, but there is stuff going on I just HAVE to write about. For one, I GOT ANOTHER DEER! This is one that, I admit, I found and hid so that the hunter wouldn't find, but it was more exciting than I thought. I guess I blend in, and I almost got shot! I'm going to have lots of venison, and enough deer-hide for a door, and the leftovers for some mittens. Ever since Bando left I have noticed the animals acting differently, such as the never-ending search for nuts that squirrels do, the fattening up of other animals, and all the other things. I thought to myself, OH SNAP! I'm going to be here in the WINTER! I knew this, but it hadn't sunk in. I knew I needed a way to get food, and I was NOT going to be going into town on a REGULAR basis. Especially since snowstorms here are fierce, and if I am stuck in my treehouse, I need to have enough food to eat. So, I chopped out some pockets on the inside of my tree to store food, such as nuts and smoked venison. But (you get the idea) I decided I needed the extra space, so I dug out another tree as storage. This tree wasn't quite as big, but it's doing the job. I finished hollowing out a space for my food just yesterday, and am ready to start foraging for food to put inside of it. WATCH OUT SQUIRRELS, because SAM GRIBLEY IS COMING TO TOWN!
