I went into town today to pick up a few last-minute supplies, and I couldn't help noticing how much I've changed. I'm more reclusive, but I've stopped using my phone every day. Sometimes I go an entire week without even touching it! I went to the local store, and everywhere I went, I saw people with wireless earbuds in, and people sitting outside on benches, scrolling through social media. I envy their connectedness, but at the same time, it also makes them less approachable for me. Well, I guess if I am living on my own anyway, I must do it all out.
I got a couple of weird looks for my clothes, and a couple phones took pictures of me, but I smell a storm coming, so I don't think I'll have any trouble from them – even if they tried, they wouldn't be able to find me in the snow. 😊
