It was a dark and stormy night. The Stein family mansion was filled with people for a historic scientific event. Victoria Stein claimed to have cracked the problem with her ancestor's work. She was going to attempt to create the first functioning artificial human. Victoria walked on stage along with medical equipment and something under a sheet.

Victoria: Ladies and Gentlemen thank you all for coming. I've brought you all here as witnesses to the next big step in science. Now I present to you...

She pulled the sheet off revealing her artificial human on an operation table.

Victoria: Franklin Stein.

He had medium length brown hair, pale skin and a large stature. He laid still with his eyes closed...lifeless.

The audience awed at the sight, though one gentleman seemed unimpressed.

Man, in the crowd: He doesn't seem to be very alive to me...

Victoria without missing a beat: That's because I haven't brought him too life yet. Speaking of which, I should get on that.

Victoria pulled a syringe full with a red liquid and injected it while making a show to the audience. Then she walked over to a button. It opened the roof and a lightning rod, connected to the operation table arose. As elements ran wild, blowing papers around the room, pushing tables and chairs while even soaking some of the guests. With perfect dramatic timing; lightning struck the rod and the power went out. As it returned Victoria closed the roof silencing the room and a faint beeping that could be heard.

Victoria rushed over to table: He has a heart-beat~

She tried to touch Franklin but got zapped.

Victoria: Ah stupid electricity.

Trying to shake away the pain Victoria didn't notice the boy on the table rose his hand to her face slowly reaching out to touch, blinking slowly...

Franklin: Stu-stupid?

The audience was left in shock and even Victoria was speech less.

Man, in the crowd: My god, she did it...

Franklin sat up and looked at Victoria eyes glowing: stupid electricity?

Victoria hugged him in joy: HE'S ALIVE HE'S ALIVE.

The reporters swarmed the stage trying to get information.

Reporter 1: How do you feel now that you've played god?

Reporter 2: What was in the syringe?

Reporter 3: Is Franklin potentially dangerous?

Franklin's grip on Victoria got tight he became more and more frantic as the reporter closed in and she quickly noticed why.

Victoria: all right back it up you're scaring poor Franklin.

Franklin: Franklin?

The reporters backed away, leaving the stage.

Victoria pointing at him, with her finger on his chest: Yes, you are Franklin Stein.

Franklin: Frank...lin Stein.

Franklin looked into the crowd and noticed an older man and girl. He wasn't sure why they stood out to him or why he remembered them so vividly as part of his first memory. though a year and a half later he would meet them properly.
