Link woke to the soft feel of the blanket and the smell of hibiscus. He groaned as he opened his eyes, the light burning his eyes as he opened them.

"Oh, you're awake! Thank the Windfish! I thought you would never wake."

"Zelda?.." Link said eyes still blurry from sun and sleep

"Pshhh, no silly. I'm Marin! I found you on the beach." The strange girl, Marin, said with what seemed to be a kind smile.

Link got up with the help of Marin, legs still shaky. Once he was standing, a man,  presumably her father, came over and handed me a shield.

"I assume this is yours boy?" The man glances at the shield "Link, Is it?" He nods and reaches for the shield. Shield in his grasp he looked around for his sword, confusion evident on his face.

"We never found a sword with you if that's what your wondering boy. Must still be in the sea or washed up on shore. Marin can show you to the beach but you'll have to look for your sword, for some reason that water has been acting like it has a mind of its own. Like it's alive." Link nods and Marin grabs his hand and pulls him through town towards the beach.

"I know my father said not to go to the beach to look for your sword but I am helping you! Nothing you say or do will make me stop!" Marin says with a huff as they reach the beach. They look around for a few hours but don't find a sword anywhere. Link sighs and trudges over to Marin. Her dress is soaked up to her waist.

"Oh no... Ugh I can't find it anywhere! But we can find it! I know we can, just have to look a little furth-" and before she finished her sentence something catches her eye in the water and she dives for it. Link goes to stop her from going after it in the cold water but it was too late. After a few seconds she comes up soaking with her flower missing from her hair, Link's sword in hand.

"Oh!" Link says to the best of his abilities, and gives Marin  a smile and a thumbs up. She smiles back and hands him the sword. He puts the sword and shield behind his back and starts to walk back to town, Marin called it Mabe village. Marin runs up beside him and grabs his hand, a light blush in her cheeks.

They walk hand in hand until they reach the outskirts of town, not wanting her father to catch them holding hands after a day of knowing each other. They make it back and change Judy's as supper is finished.

"Took you two long enough! I thought I told you to stay away from the beach Marin! Your lucky I trust you enough to stay out of trouble, but I also trusted you enough to listen to me." Link runs into the other room as Takin starts. Talon sighs and gives Marin a small smile "You're so much like your mother." Tears form in his eyes. Marin walks over to her father and gives him a hug. He kisses her head.

"Why don't you go change out of those wet clothes and into something dry, before you catch a cold." Marin smiles and runs passed Link, who has finished changing and was just coming back into the main room.

"Everything to your liking boy?" Talon stares at him. Link smiles and tries to say thank you, but the words just won't come.

"Ah I get what you're trying to say, you're welcome to stay as long as you like! I just have one favour to ask of you, keep an eye on Marin will ya." Link nods and goes to help at the table for supper.  After supper Link and Marin go for a little walk to animal village. Marin wanted to introduce him to her animal friends. But before they get even half way there they stumble upon a weird floating orb like object.

"What is that?" Link mumbles.

"I'm not sure... I'm gonna touch it!" Marin reaches her hand towards the orb-like thing. Before she touches it and Link stops her a bright flash blinds them both and a figure lands in front of them in the grass. Another beam like thing shoots off towards Tal Tal heights and the orb vanishes from sight.
