"That's quite enough nonsense!"
Gilgamesh announces our arrival as soon as we arrive..
Walking down the path into the garden, and interrupting Rider and Saber's conversation.
I move myself away from Gilgamesh once we've arrived and he walks down the path to the other servants.
I then look around to see Irisviel standing behind Saber and Waver standing behind Rider.
This kind of looks like a pokébattle right now...
It's kind of awesome.. Kind of terrifying.
"Archer, what are you doing here?" Saber asks, clearly feeling threatened as he approaches..
But, Rider explains "I saw them in town and thought i'd invite them to our little gathering"
"You actually chose to host a Banquet of Kings in a depressing place like this? How will you recompense for the rudeness of calling me here?" Gilgamesh states as he walks towards the group.
"Lighten up! Here, take a drink! What else would you have been doing?" he asks as his gaze flicks to me.
Anddd that's my cue to leave.
I turn and walk towards the mansion behind me..
If i'm going to be dragged here, i could at least learn something useful.
A lot of the walls in the castle are damaged.
There must have been a battle here recently..
Trailing my hands across the walls, i can tell these marks are new.
Then i come across an ornate golden door further up the hallway, and of course i'm drawn to open it.
Before i am able to, i hear a voice echoing through the hall, "Please, could you not go in there. This is a peaceful gathering, it wouldn't be right to invade our privacy now"
I look to the woman who spoke, Irisviel von Einzbern, Saber's master..
I retract my hand from the door and turn to her "Sorry, i suppose my curiosity got the best of me" i apologise with a smile.
Which seems to work pretty well, as she smiles softly back at me.
"Shall we head back outside? A Banquet of Kings is surely something to watch" she says as i begin walking over to her.
And i respond with a smile..
"I suppose so"
