It's been about an hour since Lucia knocked Y/n back out. He had woken up to screaming, it sounded like they were bickering.
Law: Are you insane?! Why would you hit him so hard??
Lucia: It was a love tap if he dies from that then he ain't his mother's kid.
Y/n: 'What? My mother? She knows her?'
Lucia walks into the room Y/n is in with Law trailing behind her grumbling under his breath about her methods.
Lucia: Good your awake. Get up we're leaving.
Law: You really are insane aren't you? He's still recovering and I doubt he can mo-
Y/n lifts his upper body with little to no hassle. Y/n throws his legs over the edge of the bed and slowly rises to his feet standing at full height.
Lucia: You were saying.
She says with a sly smirk and walks away onto the deck. Y/n groans to get Law's attention and points at his throat.
Law: Oh the medicine. It's a strong pain killer and water so drink slowly to not choke.
Y/n drinks the water relatively slowly to no cough it up. He gesture to his shirtless body wondering where his clothes are. Law goes to speak but is cut off by that lady outside.
Lucia: GET UP HERE I'M NOT REPEATING MYSELF AGAIN Y/N!
Y/n: 'Who in the hell does this lady think she is? She's lucky she knows something about my mom or I would've cursed her ass out to kingdom come. ' *sigh*
He thinks putting on his clothes over the bandages wrapping around his neck and arms.
Y/n makes his way onto the deck Law trailing behind to see them off. Y/n opens the hatch like door and the bright light blinds him for a quick second but his eyes slowly adjust to the brightness. As his eyes settle he notices that they're surrounded by water and another ship right next to Law's. They say their goodbyes, well Y/n just waves because his throat hasn't fully healed yet. And with that Law's submarine goes underwater.
Lucia: Listen up cause I'm only gonna say this once. What happened at Marineford shouldn't have happened. I have no idea who in the hell trained you but they should be thrown in the sea to drown.
Y/n's face scowls at the threat on Gramps. He goes to say something but she continues talking cutting him off.
Lucia: Luckily you have me now. I'll train you to your full potential, and you can't say no because you can't speak.
She says with a smirk.
Y:n: 'This lady aggravates the hell outta me.'
Timeskip
Y/n has been sailing with Lucia for a few days now. It's been hell to say the least. Firstly she put a breathing harness on his mouth making it harder for him to breathe. She says it's to make his lungs stronger, what for? Y/n genuinely doesn't know. Secondly, this woman has him training in hand to hand combat when he can barely breathe. But there is some good. She told him who his mother was and that she was apart of her crew back in the day. Unfortunately, she told him that she had died a while ago.
Y/n: 'Gia Pirates huh?'
Lucia: Get ready kid we're here. Welcome to Torrential Wind Fall
Y/n looks around the vast ocean only to see more blue. Lucia deadpans and points to the sky. Y/n looks up to see a massive island above him.

Y/n: 'And how in the flying fuck do we get up there?!'
Lucia: You better hold onto something.
Y/n: 'Huh?'
The boat begins to rock back and forth. Y/n grabs the railing while Lucia stands perfectly still. The boat continues to rock until it is shot into the air by a pop up knock-up stream. Y/n braces himself as the wind rushes past his hair. The boat flies to its peak, and begins to fall.
Y/n: AHHHH!!
Lucia: *sigh* Damn kid your loud as hell
She says still calm and perfectly still.
Y/n: 'Is this woman insane! We're gonna die!'
The boat then makes impact with a large lake. Water splashes onto the deck wetting both Y/n and Lucia.
Lucia: Alright let's go.
She then hops off of the boat and swims to the shore with Y/n following behind her. The duo then walks through the vast greenery and sees many creatures hiding within the depths of green.
Lucia: Can you see them. Their waiting for a sign of weakness, and when they see it, they'll kill you instantly.
Y/n: 'Huh?!'
They continue walking until they reach the highest point of the island, a mountain with harsh winds. Y/n is staggering through, trying not to get blown away, while Lucia is walking through perfectly fine.
Lucia: Angle your body dumbass. Your trying to stand straight up, we are on a sky island with harsh wind currents. You'd best figure it out or you'll get blown off the side of this mountain and die. Find the pockets in the wind
Y/n begins to panic, he trips and falls onto one knee. While down the air seems to calm down, yet when he stands up the air is harsh again.
Y/n: 'Maybe if I angle my head down and curve my arms. '
He tries it out and it works! The wind isn't as harsh.
Lucia: Good job. First phase is complete
Y/n: Wh-what do y-you mean?
Lucia: So the boy speaks.
She says sarcastically.
Lucia: We're pretty high up don't you think? Your breathing seems normal.
Y/n then notices that he's breathing perfectly fine, even with his still injured throat.
Y/n: H-how.
Lucia: My training. Everything on the boat was to prepare you for the real shit. By the time I'm done with you-
She begins to draw her sword. Y/n tenses. She fully draws her sword and cuts through the air, letting off a massive air attack, completely stopping the natural wind torrent. Y/n gawks at her strength.
Lucia: -You'll be able to do that.
Y/n bends down to the ground puts his hands and head on the floor
Y/n: Please, do your w-worse. I c-can h-handle it.
Lucia laughs aloud. Y/n looks up at her.
Lucia: You'd better, or you'll die trying. Now get up and dust yourself off, we've got work to do.
She holds her hand out. Y/n takes her hand immediately and Lucia pulls him up onto his feet.
