Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Lock up

I woke up and got dressed in my black skinny jeans white blouse and converse. Then i went downstairs and noticed a chair that was broken. This could not be good. I raced through the house till i saw Stefan on the floor with a stake in his stomach.

"Stefan what happened?" I said as i ran to him and pulled out the stake.

"Damon did this when i told him to leave Caroline alone." He said in a strained voice.

I was going to kill Damon. I left Stefan there while i went up to his room and got him a new shirt. He put it on an we left. Today was the founders party and that was where we would take action to try and stop Damon.

At school Bonnie told us she was having nightmares about Emily so she gave Caroline the necklace because she wanted to get rid of it.

School went by quick and soon i was in my room getting ready for the founders party. I was wearing a black off the shoulder dress with black heels and i let my red hair loose. I did my makeup and soon we left for the party.

We were standing looking at the original founders party guest list when Elena saw Stefan Damon and my name on the list.

"Hey why does the list say Damon Stefan and Rose Salvatore?" She asked.

"Those were the original Salvatore siblings." Damon said walking over to us with Caroline next to him.

"Hey Elena so you mind if i borrow your date Damon wont dance with me." She pouted looking at Damon.

"I guess its up to Stefan." She said looking at Stefan.

"Well im not going to take no for an awnser". She said dragging Stefan.

This was when our plan was gonna start. Stefan would spike Caroline's drink with vervain and then we would lock Damon up. It hurt me to do this but Caroline was my friend and i didnt want anything to hurt her.

After Caroline and Stefan stopped dancing i went to the bathroom and found Caroline applying makeup and decided to join her when i saw her neck and saw bite marks. That pushed me to the edge and i soon found myself starring at the wound.

"Caroline what is that on your neck." I said as i went to take her scarf off.

"Nothing ok." She said annoyed.

"Thats not nothing nothing Caroline is my brother hurting you?" I asked as i got a better look an saw bite marks on her neck.

"Its nothing!" She yelled at me and left.

I soon found Damon and pinned him to a wall.

"I swear Damon if you are hurting Caroline i will kick your ass from here to Canada!" I snarled.

"Im not doing anything now let go of me Rose!" He told me and i reluctantly did. I glared and left where i waited behind some bushes so i could see as Damon went to bite Caroline.

He fell and me and Stefan ran to get him and take him to the boarding house while Elena dealed with Caroline. At the boarding house we put Damon in the cell and grabbed his daylight ring which Stefan entrusted for me to hid.

Me and Stefan where waiting there for Damon to wake up when we heard grunts of pain and saw that Damon was waking up.

"What the hell did you guys do to me?" He asked us annoyed.

"I figured i couldn't spike your drink so i spiked Caroline's." Stefan said while starring at Damon.

"Damon we had to you were getting out of control and you were taking advantage of Caroline and i could not just stand by and not do anything." I said with a pained expression.

"Whatever." He said looking at the floor. Stefan must have seen the pain in my eyes and decided to do something about it.

"Cant you see how your selfish actions are hurting people especially Rose. She cares about you and didn't want to do this but she did because she cares about you. But obviously you dont care about her!" He told Damon and left.

He looked at me as a tear slid down my face. I could see the pain in his eyes and as he was about to say something i ran to my room and sat in front of my door as sobs racked my body and tears were sliding my face.

I remember going to bed that night and having no dreams what so ever.

I woke up feeling groggy and decided on some red skinny jeans with black boots and my black shirt with my leather jacket. I ran downstairs and grabbed a bloodbag and sat down drinking the whole thing before heading to the basement to see Damon.

As much as it pained me i wanted to see him before i went to school. When i got downstairs i could see him sitting on the floor staring at the wall.

"Hi Damon." I said in a small voice afraid to say anything else.

He looked at me and said nothing but suddenly i felt his hands around my neck and he was whispering in my ear.

"Let me out right now Rose!" He yelled but Stefan came down and removed Damon's hands from my throat.

"Bastard!" I yelled and ran upstairs and into the passenger seat of Stefan's car.

Soon Stefan came to the car and we left for school. At school Damon's compulsion must have worn off because Caroline was telling Elena how she hated Damon and didnt want anything to do with him.

"Hey Care" i said as i approached them with Stefan. I hugged them and apologized to Caroline about Damon.

"Care im so sorry about what Damon did to you i should have done something sooner." I apologized.

"Its not your fault Rose you weren't the one who did it." She said and hugged me. I relaxed a little but was surprised by what she said next.

"Tomorrow is the sexy suds car wash and i want both of you guys to participate." She said while i groaned.

"Ok Caroline but only because you asked." I said as we made our way to our classes. School went by quick and soon i found my self walking outside and into the boarding house. I went to the basement when i found Caroline trying to open the lock on Damon's cell.

"No!" I screamed as she did. "Run Caroline!" I yelled and she ran outside while i was holding Damon back.

I was able to sustain him before he pushed me out of the way and ran to find Caroline but she was already gone. When he saw me he lunged but i was faster and dodged and rammed him into the floor.

"Where is my ring Rose?" He snarled at me.

"Somewhere safe." I said.

As quick as he could he rammed a stake through my stomach and launched me against a wall. Stefan chose that moment to walk in an when he saw me he freaked out before pulling out the stake and helped me up. Damon was going to pay for that!

Stefan helped me up stairs because for some reason i was extremely tired. I just wanted to go to bed. He helped me in my room and left me there. After i changed and just sat there as tears rolled my face.

Damon came in and started apologizing.

"Rose im sorry i was angry and i didn't mean to do that please forgive me." He pleaded.

"Fine Damon but do that again and i will make your life living hell." I said as i laid down. He laid down next to me and i cuddled in his arm while he stroked my hair. I remembered him apologizing one more time before i fell into a deep sleep

I hope you guys liked this chapter. I will be posting the next chapter tomorrow and then i dont know if i will post this weekend. But i do know that i will be posting tomorrow
