Hi, I am Sarah and I guess you could say I am 'different.' I will tell you a little bit about myself and then I will get onto the story, I am 19 years old and I am in college. I study psychology and health and social, I have only a few friends but one incredibly special person. That special person is Monica, she is my girlfriend, we have been together for two years and Monica is 20. Mine and her relationship got off to a rocky start because of my BPD, I found it hard to communicate my feelings with her because expressing how I felt was nearly impossible. Monica helped me massively, she communicated with me and was patient with me, unlike others that had come and gone from my life. I met Monica in high school, and we just clicked.
Hi, I'm the Monica that Sarah mentioned. Me and Sarah do pretty much everything together, we share an apartment, we have a dog, we cook meals together and we go for a quiet walk every day. Today was Tuesday, it was about 19c outside and me and Sarah had just had food. We finished food at 15:00 and decided we'd go for our walk. We got Bella (the dog) on the lead and left for our walk.
Sarah – we're walking now and all I can seem to think about is how lucky I am to have Monica and how beautiful she is. We took a lot of photos today because the sun was out, it was autumn, and the leaves were beautiful, so the photos looked amazing. This was our normal day to day walk and it was so amazing, and so was she.
Monica - Fastforward two weeks and I discover that Sarah has booked a holiday for us at a caravan site near us. It wasn't a massive holiday that we needed a lot of money and a plane for, but it was a massive gesture and it made me feel amazing. Sarah had been saving for this holiday but didn't tell me, I can't believe they'd do something like that for me. I can't wait to go, it'll be a week away, quiet and with no coursework; just me and Sarah, what could be better?
Sarah – so Monica found out that I'm taking her away for a week, I wasn't going to tell her yet, it was supposed to be a secret surprise, anyways she seems happy about it, and I am more excited than ever to go away and have a break where it will just be the two of us. We've never been away before and we're always on college or at home studying. Both our parents are very happy that we're going and taking a break. We leave on Friday, which is only 4 days away!
Monica – it's Friday morning, we packed last night and we're ready to go on holiday, I can't wait! I've got to shower and dress and then we'll be going.
Sarah – we've been on the train with our suitcases for about 10 minutes, wow, it's getting close. Monica can't tell this part of the story as she fell asleep not long after we got on, she didn't sleep much last night due to stress. Nor did I as I stayed awake with her. She wasn't stressed about coming away, she was just worried about leaving home for a week.
Sarah – we just arrived at the caravan, we're unpacking and then we're going to go down to the beach and relax for a few hours. We've made it to the beach finally and all I want to do is cuddle with Monica, we lay on the beach, and I stare into their beautiful eyes.
Monica – we just got back from the beach, we were there for about 3 hours, and I've already had the most relaxed and wonderful time ever. Sarah and I decided that we were going to have an early night in bed because it had been a long day. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that we met someone on the beach today, their name was David. I don't know if we'll see him again or if I even want to. If you ask Sarah, they'll tell you he was a little bit scary. He told us his name and something about him knowing where we've been all day. Anyway, we're going back to the beach tomorrow but now we're getting some rest.
Sarah – come on Monica! I'm ready to go. Monica is taking ages and I'm ready to go to the beach, jeez I feel like I'm always waiting. I don't mind though, I'd wait a million years for her. Now we're at the beach and we see the guy that we saw yesterday, I don't know, there's just something I don't like about him.
Monica - I have something scary to tell, me and Sarah saw the guy from yesterday following us around the beach and he looked like he had a weapon. We didn't tell anyone else because we weren't sure if we were just being paranoid. However, when we arrived back at the caravan he was waiting outside and he definitely had a weapon, some kind of knife or something and we were SCARED. We ran to get help, but he chased us with his weapon. All we wanted to do was enjoy our holiday, but we got scared.
Sarah – we're home now, we left earlier because we felt it was unsafe to stay there. We found out that he was a psychopath who had escaped from prison and was out to kill! We decided that we would stay home for a while because it was one hell of an eventful trip.
