The Rumor

Lucky Luke was taking a ride in the town on his horse, Jolly Jumper. He had heard rumors of a possibly cowgirl named The Masked Rose.

The Masked Rose is a mysterious cowgirl who wears pink, wears a cape and has a red rose in her hat.

What Lucky Luke didn't know was that The Masked Rose was also the local bar dancer, Miss K.

Miss K was a good friend of Lucky Luke, he didn't know this but she had a crush on Luke.

But whenever she was alone, she would dress up as The Masked Rose. She would go on adventures along with Lucky Luke.

It look a lot of practicing to become the cowgirl, but after years of gun training she was almost as good as Luke.

One afternoon, Luke was watching the sunset when The Masked Rose appeared.

"Nice sunset huh?"

"It is." Luke replied.

The Masked Rose sat next to Luke.

"You know the sunset is pretty, but not as pretty as you, Luke." She told him.

Lucky Luke blushed.

"Aww shucks."

Lucky Luke looked at her, she was wearing the black mask as she always wore as if she was The Lone Ranger.

"You know I wonder who you are under the mask." Luke told her

The Masked Rose smiled and gave a chuckle. "You'll never know."

"I bet I will." Replied Luke

"Won't I buddy?" He said as he looked at Jolly Jumper. When he turned back to see Masked Rose, she disappeared.

Lucky Luke sighed dreamily. "That Masked Rose is a real cutie, but so is Miss K. I hope she won't get mad when I tell her about The Masked Rose."

Lucky Luke kept watching the sunset as it then set and the moon rose up. He then got on Jolly Jumper and rode off back into town.
