38: Elevator

"He kissed her on the cheek Jimin!" Jungkook said with annoyance.

"It's the same thing! He technically kissed her!" Jimin said yet again, his voice cracking.

"bruh .. are you gonna cry?" Jungkook asked looking at Jimin very closely.

"Shut the fuck up!" Jimin said, subtly wiping his eyes.

"what did you even say to her that got her so bent?" Jungkook asked, staring out at Mi-Sun's face.

"I said, hers was the best I ever had.."

Jungkook looked at Jimin with confusion. "So? That's not a bad thing.."

"it is to women though.. they don't like that type of shit."

Jungkook shook his head, "Well.. just apologize then.."

"I tried.. turns out she's already with someone new."

"You don't know that." Jungkook added.

"bruh, we just saw her kiss him!"

"IT WAS ON THE CHEEK!" Jungkook shouted.

"Keep your loud ass voice done." Jimin said, slapping Jungkook on the back of the head.

He hissed, rubbed the spot Jimin slapped.

They both continued to watch until both of them get up from the bench and walked back to their car. Jungkook and Jimin instantly ducked down, waiting until they heard the ignition start and they drive away. When they did, the both of them took a deep breath out.

Jimin leaned his head back against the seat, trying as hard as possible to stop his tears from overflowing and running down his cheeks. "I can't believe I lost her.."

Jungkook placed his hand on top of Jimin's shoulder. "You're really bad at communicating!"

Jimin rolled his eyes starting up the car, and driving away.

When they finally made it back to the label, Jimin banged his head against the steering wheel a couple of times.

"Yo chill!" Jungkook said, grabbing Jimin's shoulders and pushing him back against the car seat.

"Jungkook, I need you to do me a favor.."

Jungkook lets out a long sign before looking at Jimin sternly. "What is it?"

"I need you to ask Mi-Sun if she's dating Yeonjun."

Jungkook covered his face with irritation, "Why can't you do that yourself?"

"Because, as of right now, she probably doesn't want to see me!"

Jungkook scoffed, "You my friend, are one hell of a stubborn man. I'll do it. But only because I'm nosy as fuck!"

Jimin rolled his eyes, shaking his head before Jungkook gets out of the car.

"I'll go see if she's in the studio, don't go too far?" Jungkook said.

He exits the car and runs back to the label entering it panting. He looks around at the people before bowing to them. Awkwardly, he walks to the elevator still bowing his way over there. When he enters the elevator, he takes a deep breath of relief. Going up to the top most floor where the recording stood was at. He stood near the buttons waiting for the door to ding open, when it did his body jolted seeing Mi-Sun walk into the elevator.

"Ohh.. Jungkook.." Mi-Sun said, almost sounding surprised, and disappointed at the same time.

Jungkook nervously looked around the elevator trying to avoid looking at Mi-Sun's eyes. He scratched his neck nervously while glancing quickly over at Mi-Sun.

"Hey.." jungkook said in a low voice, "What floor?"

Mi-Sun looked at Jungkook confused, "You're not getting off here?"

Jungkook shook his head, "No.."

Mi-Sun chuckled, "Ohh, well I'm going to the first floor."

Jungkook laughed, "Well hey, I'm going there too!" Jungkook pressed the number for Mi-Sun and the door began to slowly close.

Awkwardly they stood there in silence.

"So, Mi-Sun.. We haven't talk for a hot minute!"

Mi-Sun nodded her head, "yeah, I miss talking to you!"

Jungkook swallowed his spit nervously looking up at Mi-Sun's face. "So.. you and Yeonjun ey?"

Mi-Sun instantly looked up at Jungkook the moment he said that. Her eyes didn't move from Jungkook's face. Her eyebrows twitched with confusion, before she tilted her head and looked at him very seriously.

"Me and Yeonjun? What makes you think that?"

Jungkook's eyes shot open, not knowing what to say to Mi-Sun. He stuttered with his words before coming up with what he was going to say.

"I over heard he asked you to a cup of coffee, was it a date?"

Mi-Sun rolled her eyes and sighed at Jungkook's question. "No, it wasn't a date." Mi-Sun said, adjusting her bag before looking at Jungkook very seriously, "Why would you care about me going on a date with someone?"

Jungkook again stuttered nervously. He looked back and Mi-Sun than at floor a couple of times before his shoulders finally fell to its normal position. He looked at Mi-Sun with defeat. "I'm asking for Jimin.."

Mi-Sun dropped her head, closing her eyes tightly before nodding her head. "All he could have done was ask."

Jungkook sighed, "You know how Jimin is.."

Mi-Sun paused for a while, thinking about what to say. She stared at Jungkook as he looked up into her eyes. She finally spoke.

With her mouth slightly twitching into a side smile, she spoke in a quiet voice. "He asked me if I wanted to grab coffee with him, I said yes. He than took me to this park right across the street. I'll admit, he did ask me out, but I declined. I told him I just got out of a relationship and I wasn't ready for a new one yet because I still have feelings Jimin."

Jungkook mouth opened in realization, "Ahh, and the kiss?"

Mi-Sun looked at Jungkook with furrowed eyebrows, "How do you know about the kiss?" Mi-Sun said with her nostrils flaring, "Did you followed me?" she said sternly.

Jungkook's face turned pale. With his mouth wide open he began to stutter again. "I-I was driving by when I saw him kiss you.. on the c-cheek!" Jungkook said, with sweat forming around his forehead.

Mi-Sun looked down at the floor. "Yeah .. he did kiss my cheek, but not romantically. He said he'll wait for me and than kissed my cheek as a goodbye for now, because I told him I don't think we should talk until I get myself situated."

Jungkook shook his head, with his hand rubbing against his neck. When the elevator dinged open, Jungkook tried to bolt out of the elevator. He realized he should bowed to Mi-Sun first before leaving out the elevator.

"Jungkook.." Mi-Sun called out to him. He stopped dead in his track. He slowly turned around with his eyes wide open.

"Wait off telling Jimin anything .. please.."

Jungkook scoffed shaking his head, disagreeing with Mi-Sun's request. He looked up at her one last time before he sighed in defeat. "fine .. you owe me.."

Mi-Sun walked up to Jungkook giving him a tight hug, "thank you Jungkookie!" Mi-Sun said in a cute voice.

Jungkook chuckled at her before giving her a hug back. Mi-Sun leaves out the door, and Jungkook quickly falls onto the lobbies couch.
