Arya's POV

Danile doesn't come back. Weeks go by and I'm only visited by this one girl who only comes in to offer me fresh changes of clothes, bathroom breaks, and food. I really don't know why I am here anymore, they aren't interrogating me or trying to get information from me. It is almost like a break. A long and dull break though, as the days drag on endlessly. I'm not sure if people bothering me is worse, or the loneliness, and silence. One day I hear tapping on the wall rhythmically.

I walk over to hear better. It's 5872, doing morse code. "What" a pause as I listen to the tapping "Are you doing?"

"Nothing." I tap back, "Like I have been doing for the past week."

The messages take forever and are long and drawn out, I hate communicating like this. "Escape?" I wait for another moment "Plan?"

"You're the boss." I tap back slowly.

I can almost feel the eye roll through the wall, "fine, be ready"

"Yes ma'am." I tap, I hope she can feel the sarcasm and that I would never respect her that much to call her ma'am.

"You are the worst"

"I know."

About an hour goes by and I'm almost dead with boredom. I then hear the sirens go off in the base, and gunshots along with grunts and screams. Suddenly my door is thrown open and there stands 5872 holding a machine gun, covered in blood. "You ready?"

"What took you so long." I say and roll off the cot I was laying on and straighten out my T-shirt.

"I don't see you doing anything, but if you want, I can just close the door" she begins to slowly close it.

I catch it with my hand. "Nice try but you're not getting rid of me that easily." I step out of the cell. "Gun?"

She tosses me hers as we turn down, walk down the hallway and watch a group of guards run at us. I aim and fire at them and she picks her way through them removing the guns, knives, and bullets from their belts and pockets. Suddenly a group of ten soldiers charges at us, and 5872 smiles and holds out her hands blue radiating from it, and they all fall screaming in pain and she walks through the group of fallen bodies with ease.

I watch in amazement as I follow her down the hall and to the second set of interrogation cells. "We need to get the rest of my team out."

"Okay" she says nonchalantly and grabs a machine gun off of a fallen agent, and brushes the long hair from her face.

I find a key card and snag it out of a dead guy's pocket. "Perfect." I slide it in the first card slot and the door light blinks green and the lock clicks open. I hear gun shots behind me and a light chuckle as I walk into the first cell.

I see Darius sitting on his cot rubbing his forehead. He looks up when he hears me come in. "I knew you would come for me." He stands and reaches from me and I hit his hand. I broke up with Darius a month ago and we weren't even dating. He just told everyone we were. But according to Rio he never got over it.

"Focus, we have to get out of here. Now." I say and turn out of the cell. I see 5872 letting Rio out of her cell.

Rio rushes over to me and swings her arm around my neck in a hug. I freeze for a minute and 5872 pretends to puke. Then Rio says. "I was worried they'd killed you."

"Why." I pull away. Rio was the closest thing to a friend I had. We had both joined the same year and went through combat training together. It was a complete coincidence that after she got back from learning to hack computers that she was put on my team.
