Chapter 36 The meaning of the Chunin Exams

I continued to open my scroll, along side with everyone else

NARUTO:What? What is this?
SAKURA:A man A person
HENNA:That's funny, they look like marking for a summoning

In an instant me an Sasuke threw the scrolls on the ground

SASUKE:This is a summoning Jutsu. Naruto, Sakura drop the scroll quick

They both looked at each other, before throwing the scrolls to the ground also. Smoke started seeping out of the scrolls. Then it made a boom noise, before the smoke reveled Iruka

HENNA:Hey look its Iruka Sensei, Hey how come no one poofed out for me?

Iruka only chuckled, before he smiled at me

IRUKA:Because Lord Hokage told the proctors for this part, that you'd be with squad Seven til the end. its been awhile hasn't it Squad Seven
SAKURA:Iruka Sensei
IRUKA:Looks like you guy have been through alot, In this test
NARUTO:Whats up with poofing up threw these scrolls
IRUKA:At the end of the second exam we chunin are suppose to welcome the test takers back. Its just good luck that i got the important task, to be the messenger for you guys

I gave Iruka a confused look

HENNA:A messenger? For what

He then dug into his pocket and pulled a pocket watch out

IRUKA:You guys made it just in time, an now. Congratulation you've passed the second exams. To celebrate your pass. i would have liked to treat you guys to some Ichiraku Ramen but-
NARUTO:Ramen! Seriously thats sooo cool

Naruto jumped on Iruka giving him a big hug I pulled Naruto off of him

HENNA:Hang on a minute Naruto. He said would have and but. There is something more
We all turned to himas he justed nodded to us
IRUKA:Shes right
SASUKE:I have a question?
IRUKA:What would that be
SASUKE:What would you have done, if we did open up the scrolls, during the test

He then got off the scrolls an picked one up.

IRUKA:Sharpe eye as usual Sasuke. Part of this exam. Was to see how you'd see threw a difficult mission. If you guys could see it all the way threw. You knew that opening the scroll was against the rules of your mission
SAKURA:What would have happened Iruka Sensei?
IRUKA:If the scroll was opened. We where ordered to knock out the person who opened it. Some ninjas found that out the hard way

I turned to Naruto an Sakura

HENNA:Thank goodness you guys didnt open up the scroll
NARUTO:I owe you one. Thanks a million Kabuto

I made a face when Naruto said his name. I should have fought him when i had the chance

SAKURA:Sensei, what does the writing on the wall mean? The letter are kinda eaten away, so we cant understand it
NARUTO:We passed. It shouldn't matter now
IRUKA:Actully explaining thta, is another reason why i was sent out here
HENNA:Really?
IRUKA:That's right. They are instructions Lord Hokage recorded as principles that Chunins should follow.
NARUTO/HENNA:They're instructions
IRUKA:Yea. Heaven stands for your mind and Earth for your body. If qualities of heaven are your desire acquires wisdom to take you mind higher. Get it

HENNA:Not really
IRUKA:Alright ill explain. In other words if weakness lies in your intelligence, Then Naruto you'll have to make sure you work double as hard, to make sure you learn all the information and skills  that you need to prepare for your missions
NARUTO:Ok i get your point
HENNA:Oh i get it
IRUKA:An Sakura. If earthly qualities is what you lack, then train your body prepare to attack. So if weakness lies in you physical strength Sakura. Then you'll have to make sure you'll have to work on your physical conditioning every single day till it improves all that time. When Heaven and Earth are open together the path would become righteous forever. Meaning if your mind and body are working together as one. Even a very dangerous mission can become one
HENNA:What about the missing letter Sakura saw earlier
IRUKA:Well that part was meant for all of you to fill. Do you see that symbol on the scroll. Its the chapter for person a reference for you Chunins. These five days of survival were to test your abilities as Chunin, and to see if youd be any good at it. I gotta say you guys did an amazing job. A Chunin is a leader, a guide. A Chunin has to be aware of the weaknesses of those serving under him or her. You guys did an excellent job on this mission and i want you to remember these instructions on your next one.
