All the players were waiting in the lobby eager to start. As Gourdius was pacing around they spotted him, Duolingo (the bird) was there chatting with some random old man. Gourd could care less though only focusing on Duo and his beautiful feathers and glorious orange beak...Gourd's favorite color. "Chat, do you see them? They're beautiful, I should seduce them." Gourd whispered. Chat of course only thought of it as a joke of course seeing as gourd the past few rounds has jokingly "seduced" members from the opposing teams to win, little did they know there was a spark of something else happening between the two. 5... Gourd stepped closer 4... reaching his hand out 3... so close 2... they locked eyes and yet 1... no time for them to properly meet now since the game has begun.
Gourd looked around as they spawned in on their teams platform noticing she was apart of the red team this game, going back to talking to chat though for the time being, "When I uhm stub my toe or like hit myself on something I will like yell..at whatever limb I hit, so like if my elbow gets hit I'll be like god fucking danm it elbow" gourd says while laughing at their antics. As time went on gourd talked with chat about how horrible Allmight is and how Kyp0s could've seduced the last blue team, all whilst failing miserably at bridging to a simple platform not even that far from them.
Whilst coming back from grabbing some diamonds Gourdius notices a player from green team bridging over to their base, "AYO AYO GREEN AYO-" cutting themselves off with a gasp with a new great Idea, "Oh do we seduce green chat? do we seduce green, ah I think we should seduce them" going closer to their bridge not knowing who was there but still ready to seduce the player in hopes of getting more views, there was something in the back of Gourdius' mind hoping it was Duolingo wanting to see his hot rock hard abs, luscious green feathers, and his gorgeous orange beak.
The thought sent a shiver down Gourdius' back, quickly though Gourd shook away those thoughts knowing there was a low possibility of him being there, and went back to talking to chat on how they could seduce the green player. "Ok chat let me shout at them" gourd quickly starts typing in the server chat shouting at them, "Hey green, looking mighty fine there buddy!" After turning back and laughing to themselves Gourd sees the one person he thought wouldn't be there...Duolingo. Gourdius quickly ran over to stop Duolingo from destroying their base "OH IT'S DUOLINGO" quickly running out of breath whether it was the sight of Duolingo's glistering abs or the fight they were in, now against one another, Gourd didn't care, all he cared about was being with the man that sent shivers down their back. "Oh GOD that's HOT" Gourd yelled only catching himself as soon as she said that.
"NO it's not what the fuck, no it's not.. whoaa why did I say that" Gourdius laughed awkwardly after that, fearful of chat catching on to the truth behind those words, though it seems one person in chat did, gayest_boy also known as Gay was catching on pretty quickly to Gordius' antics silently rooting for it's new OTP. Walking away back to his chest to put some iron and gold in it after looting it from Duolingo after he 'died' from Gourd. Running across their poor excuse of a bridge to go and get some diamonds, Chat started to joke along and tell Gourdius to seduce Duolingo though Gourd had already started to come up with a romantic plan to win Duo's heart and become his. Looking back at the server chat one last time hoping Duolingo would respond to their shout and still finding nothing until he moved her finger just a smidge and saw it, Duolingo: thank you , Gourdius nearly fainted at the fact that he responded back to them.
As fast as Gourd could respond back she said " can i take you out on a date? in mid" hoping chat would only see it as a joke and Duolingo would see it as more. Only having twenty-five seconds left before they could chat and actually respond, Gourd started to panic a bit. Finally after the time was up Gourdius was able to ask Duo on a date hoping with their very being as a god that Duolingo would say yes. With chat hyping them up and gourd praying to all the gods they ever deemed worthy Gourd truly believed that Duo would say yes to him, and he did responding back almost immediately as if he was as head-over-heels for Gourdius and Gourdius was head-over-heels for Duolingo.
