Trisha's POV

I was sitting, waiting for the conference to start. It was the conference of a famous singer. It was the conference of Reyvon- a finalist of American Idol. The conference was all about the launching of his album and his first ever solo concert. I was there playing a role of a fan who supports him. I was also hoping that Daniel Seavey- the other finalist of American Idol and my crush will come to support his bestfriend.

As I waited, someone sat beside me. I thought an old man sat beside me so I didn't flinch so that he wouldn't be disturbed. But as I turned to his side, it was the oh-so-handsome Daniel Seavey. My heart was beating fast and singing with joy. I just composed myself so that I wouldn't be embarrassed.

After a few moments, the conference started. I was amazed of myself, still composed even though Daniel was here beside me smiling.

The moment the date of the concert was announced I stood up and jumped not knowing I was holding Daniel's hand. He didn't mind it. He even hugged me while jumping for joy. I felt a spark while he was hugging me. My heart was beating so fast like it was a horse, racing in a competition.

The conference ended and Daniel disappeared in a flash. I didn't even know where he went. So I just went out of the building and started walking. I was walking and walking until I saw him again, sitting a little far from their van. I approached him without any hesitation.

"Hi Daniel!" I said with a smile.

"Hello" he turned to me with a smile

"Why are you still out here? I mean you should've been at home by now" I asked

"Well, our car ran out of fuel. My mom already called my brothers to bring fuel here." he replied.

"Oh, but why do you still have that sad face painted in your face?"

"Well, I kind of have some trust issues in some people. 'Cause some just used me for fame. But I want to have someone to lean on."

"There's a lot of people out there who can be your friend, especially me. I can be your 'someone to lean on"."

I should've been shy that time but my shyness didn't show up. And I guess I was thankful that my shyness didn't came. At least were friends for now. But who knows what would happen with this friendship for long. It could level up or just stay this way. I'll let fate do the work and i'll just go with the flow.
