The Beginning

We were born in December, the 27th. Apparently we were orphans though. We don't know what happened. Tossed on the streets. Don't know when. But, I remember, he remembers a girl with short brunette hair and a little girl with teal pigtails.

"Awwww! They're adorable! Can we keep them!" The little girl tugged on the older girl's sleeve. She laughed.

"It's like your talking about animals." She looked down. "Kagamine eh." She leaned down to us. She picked up him but didn't go far.

"There holding hands Meiko. It's so cute!" The pigtail squealed.

"I know Miku." The brunette called Meiko grunted. She pried are fingers apart. Immediately I started crying, reaching for my brother and him crying too reaching back. Meiko tried to calm him down.

"Ah! Meiko, their crying!"

"I can see that Miku!" Meiko stilled tried to get my brother to calm down. Miku leaned down and picked me up. I started crying louder and reached for his hand. Almost there.....
"Meiko! This one has an orange bracelet on! It says..... N-I-R."

"Let me see." Meiko grabbed me and immediately we stopped crying. She took my wrist. "Weird. Anyway, let me see." She picked up my wrist. "R-I-N. Miku you spelt it wrong." She whacked her on the head.

"Owwie! Meanie!" She stuck her tongue out.

"You little..." She looked at us then at her and sighed. She looked at me. "Your name is Rin huh." She smiled. She looked at his wrist too, to find a yellow bracelet. "L-E-N. Len huh."

"Meiko! Look! I got icecream!"

"Hey! Kaito! That's not Fair!" Miku whined.

"Hey, Meiko. Where did you get those babies?" He gasped. "Don't tell me! Their yours! Who's the daddy?" The person wiggled his eyebrows.

"Kaito." Meiko's voice was getting loud and her eyebrow twitched. "We are eight.What makes you think they are mine?! What are you stupid?!" She looked at us and sighed. The boy named Kaito stuck his tongue out.

"Miku. Do you think you can hold both of them?"

"I don't know." She sat down in the grass next to the box.

"I guess I'll put them back in the box." She set us down gently. She hopped back up quickly. "Ok. Now where was I? Oh yeah. Kaito!!! Come here buddy! I. Just. Want. To. Give. You. A. Hug!" Kaito screamed and ran with Meiko chasing after him. I laughed. Len laughed. Miku's face came in view and she started making funny faces. We laughed more. I reached up. Len reached up. We both grabbed her short pigtails. She was screaming trying to get free, we were laughing.

"Owwie! Ochies!!! Let go!" She started crying and we dragged are chubby fingers back with some of her teal hair. She pulled her face back and rubbed the sides of her head. Len yawned. I yawned after.

"You guys do everything together." She still had tears in her eyes while rubbing the sides of her head.

"Got him!" Called Meiko dragging Kaito by the scarf. "Ok. Are we going to take them home?"

"M-Mei-ko. L-l-et go! Y-ou-r st-rang-ling me!"

"Oh shut up will you?" She dropped Kaito's scarf, him falling on the floor. We laughed. "See. They like it." Meiko smiled. She picked the box up. "Come on." She broke out into a smile and everybody smiled. "Let's go home." She started walking off to the direction of their house.
