Chapter 7: Debut

"It's done? Perfect timing. Yeah, my computer's already set up. You can send it, same email address. Alright, thanks for your hard work. I'll let you know if I need anything else. Okay, bye." I hung up the phone, looking at Coco with a smile. "My avatar's finished. So now I can start my debut stream." The dragon in front of me grew a smirk, giving me a thumbs up. "Awesome! So when will that be?" She asked, I didn't really set a specific date for it though. "Dunno, probably tomorrow." Her smirk went away, replaced with a look of shock. "That soon?! You really are an interesting one Stalker." 'Weird choice of words, Coco,' I thought to myself. "The CEO said that to me during my interview." The dragon chuckled lightly before deciding that she was needed someplace else. "I'll watch your debut so I can see that avatar of yours. Good luck in advance, Stalker!" Cheering like a leader, she walked out my bedroom, closing the door behind her.

Today was the second day that I've been staying with Coco, Suisei and Kanata. I spent the entire day yesterday unpacking and setting up my streaming equipment. I went out though to buy an extra monitor at a tech store in Chūo. It didn't take long since I now live extremely close to Chūo, which was nice since I live close to work. The setup itself came out pretty nice. My room's pretty large, so it wasn't difficult getting it in a good spot. I walk into my room, look to the right and my setup's right there. I had to do buy some extra stuff too, but I borrowed Coco's car so it wasn't exactly difficult getting it all here.

"Looks good, Sutōkā." I turn to meet who said that, it was Suisei. She looked at me intensly, I don't know why though. "Do you need anything?" I ask since she kinda walked in, saying nothing. "Not really. I just wanted to say, that I'll be watching your debut. I wish you the best of luck." The girl walked upto me as she said that. Out of the blue, she gave me a hug. I awkwardly wrap my arms around her, but then she tightened up. "You really are cute Sutōkā. Looking forward to your company," she said in a rather odd way. Almost sounded seductive. Red flag, so I tap her shoulder a few times, trying to get her to stop. Thankfully she did, shooting me a smirk before leaving. "Weird.."

10 minutes later...

I decided to spend the rest of my day preparing for tomorrow, since I'd like to start as early as possible. As I cracked my fingers, my door busted open. "STALKER! You gotta see this!" It was Coco, I though she left. The ecstatic dragon rushed over to my desk with her phone in hand. "Hololive posted a video introducing you! Here, take a look." She said, shoving her phone in my way. It was playing a video. Yup, that was my avatar. Looks exactly how it did when I got it. The video was styled in a cool way. It was like the Modern Warfare trailer, just styled in a different way. It ends with my avatar on screen, in all it's 'glory'. The title of said video really intrigued me, because it's like something I'd come up with. "Hololive's Paid Mercenary: Ochitsu Sutōkā aka 'Calm Stalker' [Debut coming soon]." I read it out loud. "Cool right?" She asked, and I nodded. "It matches my liking for the military." Is Coco the only one I need to deal with right now? No, this was made apparent when the door slowly opened up, revealing the timid angel from yesterday: Kanata Amane. "H-hey, Sutōkā-chan," her speech was shaky. "I like your introduction video, it l-looks cool!" I can tell she was trying her best. Approaching the short girl, I placed my hand on her head and gave a headpat. "Thanks, I appreciate your kind words." That seemed to have eased her, since she perked up with a smile. "You're welcome!" The girl cheered, then she took a bow and her leave. "It's happening... She's starting to like you, good job Stalker." "I don't like it when people shoe negative emotions towards me, especially for no real reason." She seems to have gotten an idea of what I meant by that. "Ahh, okay. Well, I'm gonna go to a friend's house. Call if you need anything," that was all she said before leaving. Now I can finally get to work with my preparation.
