Hide-and-Seek

"Alright Squad! We are gonna play Hide-and-Seek! You can only hide inside the house. I'll be the seeker first, so you better start running." Alex said with a devilish laughter.

Light, Luca, and Charli ran upstairs.

Levi ran downstairs.

And Jaxx and Sora ran still on the first level.

Sora ran into a closet and hid in a small corner inside. Jaxx was about to find his own spot until he saw where Sora hid. Jaxx smirked and started walking to where Sora hid himself.

"Boo!"

Sora quietly screamed.

"What the fuck Jaxx! You gave me a heart attack!"

"Stop yelling you baby and let me hide with you."

"You can't hide with me, it's too cramped."

Jaxx got inside.

"I can fit just fine, but yeah, it is a little cramped."

"Told you, so maybe you should find another spot to hide."

Just then Alex yelled.

"READY OR NOT HERE I COME!"

Jaxx smirked at Sora.

"It looks like I can't leave now. But, maybe we can make room in here."

Before Sora could say anything, Jaxx picked up Sora and put him on his lap.

"See. More room." Jaxx said with a bright smile.

Sora was completely red.

"Babe, you know I love you, but if the Alex finds us-"

"She won't find us sweetie. Now be quiet." Jaxx said as he placed his finger onto Sora's mouth. "We don't want Alex to hear us."

Jaxx then turned Sora's head and kissed him. Sora didn't push away.

They were interrupted when they heard Alex. Sora then laid his head into Jaxx's chest, scared. Jaxx looked up and realized that Alex didn't find them but someone else. Jaxx then looked down at Sora.

"Blueberry, it's okay. Shhh, I'm here, I'm here. Alex found someone else."

Sora wouldn't lift his head. Jaxx felt bad. Jaxx was aware that Sora wanted to keep their relationship a secret for now and this was the worst situation they could be in.

"Baby, look at me, everything's okay."

Sora hesitantly raised his head and looked at Jaxx, tears rushing down his face. Jaxx never wanted Sora to cry.

"I'm so sorry sweetie. I should have left, even when Alex was done counting. I know you want to keep us a secret and I'm making things worse. I think Alex found Levi, and I saw him go downstairs. This means I can get out and find a different spot."

"Wait-wha?"

Jaxx lifted Sora off of him and he crawled out of the hiding spot.

"Sorry again baby. I hope you can forgive me and I'll do whatever you want later to make you happy, okay?"

Jaxx left the room while Sora sat there in shock. Sora didn't want The Squad to know they were boyfriends, but he also didn't want to leave Jaxx's arms.

Jaxx ended up finding a new spot to hide. Jaxx sat down and thought to himself. He felt like an idiot for making Sora uncomfortable.

"It's a stupid game and I made him cry because I wouldn't leave him alone for a second. I am really clingy aren't I..."

"Yeah, you could say that again."

Jaxx raised his head and found Sora at the entrance of his new hiding spot.

"N-No. Babe listen, y-you don't h-have to."

Sora sat in Jaxx's lap and kissed him.

"Maybe we don't have to keep our relationship hidden for much longer." Sora said with a smile.

"Y-you're serious?"

Sora nodded and Jaxx immediately hugged him tight and kissed him again. They made out as they heard Light and Charli being found upstairs. This time, Sora wasn't scared. Jaxx did start to cry though.

"Babe, what's wrong?"

"I just love you so much and I'm so happy to see you happy."

Sora smiled and hugged Jaxx. They cuddled in their hiding spot as they heard Luca was found.

"It's just us left." Sora said.

"Yeah...but let's also think about one thing."

"What's that?"

Jaxx lifted Sora off his lap.

"We don't have to rush to tell The Squad about us."

Jaxx ran out of the hiding spot to purposely get caught.

"Jaxx what are you doing?" Alex asked.

"O-oh! Did the game not end?" Jaxx questioned, trying to act stupid.

"No. You and Sora were still left to find, but I guess you lost. SORA COME OUT, YOU WON!"

Jaxx awkwardly laughed. He did it all on purpose so Sora could win. This was all to make up for earlier.

Sora walked out to see The Squad laughing. As Sora joined the group, he smiled while looking at Jaxx. He thought about what Jaxx said and decided that he was right. There was no rush.

"Let's just take our time and we will definitely tell The Squad soon, just not today, not this week, not this month. Let's just enjoy each other for the time being." Sora said in his mind.

Jaxx looked over and smiled.

"You're the new Seeker Sora. Count to 30." Jaxx said.

Sora smiled and proceeded to close his eyes and count to 30.
