Electric Love

01. The Sleepover

Writing the second half of this after literally chugging a long awaited Baja Blast in under 10 minutes. In other words I had way too much energy writing this.

I was listening to some music on my speaker as I did my homework not really caring if I bothered anyone before my younger brother barged into my room with the most ear piercing whine he could manage to let out. I chucked my blanket I had resting on my lap at him with a loud groan, "Can't you see I'm trying to do my homework?"

This only made him whine more and let out even more cries. I sighed and walked over to him, "Hey what's wrong?" I knew he was one to fuss a lot but he never fussed this much.

"Gramps said that you were going away!" Oh so that's what that was about? I didn't expect him to act this way over a sleepover. I was suddenly snapped back to reality by a pair of arms wrapped around my waist.

I sighed and trudged towards the speaker to pause my music as best as I could with him on me before I looked down at him, "I'm only going over to a friend's for the weekend, calm down. Why don't you ask if you can go to your boyfriend's house or something?"

He wiped his tears and let out a quiet sniffle, "Yeah that sounds good. Sorry for earlier." He chuckled slightly as I ruffled his hair.

"Don't worry about it, if you're planning on leaving anytime soon I'd ask now." I chuckled quietly to myself as I saw him practically run away as I started to get packed myself.

I was looking through my closet before I decided on 2 outfits for the days I would be staying there. After I finished looking through my closet I looked through my dresser for some night clothes as I sang quietly. "We're starting over. And I love you darling. And I am done, dear."

I grabbed two outfits tossing them onto the bed with my day clothes before I check my phone to see if I had any notifications sure enough there were some.

Gyu: Am I picking you up?

If you want to you can. I'm getting packed now so I'll be ready by the time you get here.

Gyu: I'll be there in a few minutes then.

I placed my phone down as I packed my bags. I didn't need to look in the mirror to know my face was red. I finished packing my bag before I held it close to my chest, tonight would be the night I finally confessed.

I walked downstairs double checking to be sure I packed everything before I heard a noise and practically ran outside after saying my goodbyes to Zenitzu.

Gyutaro was sitting on his motorcycle with a small smile present on his face, he never smiled much but when he did it sure was beautiful. "Well what are you waiting for? Hop on!"

I sat behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist like I've always done but this time was different, as I rested my head in the crook of his neck I couldn't help but wonder: "Will he ever want to do stuff like this again after I tell him?"
