Nobody has talked to Ron since that night. And now we rarely see him, he's always with Lavender, why'd he choose her? Hermione was always there and Ron picks Lavender....

Slughorn's party was today, Draco had gotten more distant, I know why. But I hated how he was. So I managed to catch up with him after potions.

'Draco, you kill me seeing you so down' i cupped his face as he smacked it off

'I don't need your sympathy, Evanora.' He spat

That's the first time he'd used my full forename. It did hurt but I didn't give up.

'Draco, I love you. Please let me in' I said

'It's too dangerous, for you. I am protecting you, do you not understand? You could die just by loving me. That's how bad it is. Evie, I have to be distant, so he can't get to you' he came closer, his eyes glossy

I knew he meant Voldemort.

'All want is to love you, I don't care if I die, I love you.' I whispered

'I can't help it either.' He dipped down to kiss me passionately, I haven't felt his lips on mine in forever. But he pulled away.

'Draco, please be safe.' I looked at him

'Nowhere is safe. Especially not Hogwarts. Everything is going to change' he eloped me in a hug as we stood here

'Everything?' I asked looking into his blue-grey orbs

'Everything. But it would have to get worse before it gets good. There is going to be a war. No doubt but I will do anything to keep you safe.' He kissed my forehead

'I love you, Draco. Beyond anything, I never thought I needed you. But I do.' I smiled

'After the war, we will start a new life. Together' he cradled me

'Together. But I'm buying a pet albino ferret.' I sniggered as he let me go

'Oh you little—' he started chasing me as I ran to lunch at the Great Hall as he chased me. He tackled me to the ground as we both burst out laughing. Many of the Slytherins and Gryffindors gave us odd looks. It was weird to see a Slytherin and a Gryffindor so civil.

Draco helped me get up, as we stared into eachothers eyes. He kissed my hand before walking to his table as I walked to mine. Ronald wasn't anywhere to be seen, but this is the first time Draco has ever shown public affection.

'Have you two made it public.' Hermione gritted her teeth

'I don't know, probably' I shrugged

'I see the love in his eyes, like Harry has for Ginny' Hermione told me

'Okay okay, Mione no need to tell the whole wizarding world I have a crush on Ginny Weasley' Harry exclaimed as everyone went quiet

Ginny flushed deep red along with Harry.

'Well I think you did that to yourself' I laughed

'Go stuff yourself, Nora' he mumbled

After school had finished, I went to the Astronomy tower to see Draco. Staring effortlessly at the stars.

'One day I'd like a kid, and to be a good father like mine never was.' He hung his head

'Oh Draco, you will be a good father, but the morals and society you've been brought up in had damaged that.' I rested my head on his shoulder as our hands swum the distance between us.
