{Chapter 6}
It has been a month since Melinda left for her mission, and has been a month and a half since they joined the BAU. Daisy walked into work and was met by Spencer handing her a cup of coffee. She smiled thankful for him doing that and took it from his hands. They walked towards the elevator together as Spencer began to ask her about her mother, "Heard anything about Agent May?" Daisy shook her head, "No, i'm beginning to worry about her but I know that she can handle herself." He smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder and rubbed her shoulder as he pressed the button to their floor. Quiet elevator music filled the room as she leaned her head against his shoulder. The elevator dinged making her raise her head and they walked out. Daisy took a sip of her coffee and grabbed Spencer's arm halting him from moving, "How'd you know my coffee order?" Spencer smirked, "I'm a big profiler. What'd you expect?" She smirked back and pushed him away, making him laugh as they make their way to their desks only to be stopped by JJ. She gave them a serious expression on her face as she lifted files in the air, "Case." Daisy groaned and got back up and followed Spencer to the conference room. JJ set up the screen and then prepared to give out the details of their case. Everyone walked in and sat down to listen to the information. "We are going to Mexico to see if they have a serial killer." JJ tells them and Daisy's eyes widened when she heard where they were going. She looked like she was about to jump up and run straight to the plane so they can get there faster. "Spain? Isn't that where Agent May is for her mission?" Emily asks hearing about that, too and JJ nodded, "She is, but in a different part of Spain. Anyways, they have had four homicides for the last month. They are killed with a .9 millimeter gun." Aaron looked to everyone, "Wheels up in 5." He walked away towards his office making Daisy curious and smile at everyone before she walked over to his office. She got there and knocked on the door before opening it, making Aaron look up at her with curiosity as she closed and locked the door. "Hello?" Aaron replied in more of a question. "You're worried about my mom, aren't you?" Daisy asked getting right to business as Aaron's mouth gaped open like a fish as he was confused at why she was asking him that. Daisy smirked at his non-answer before looking at him with a serious expression, "I seen the way you calmed my mother down on my first case. No one has been able to do that in a long time. My father used to be able to but when he left, before I was born, it didn't work for her anymore. She seems to have a connection towards you and it was only the first case. Imagine what it will be like later on." Aaron held a hand up, "Stop." She stopped and looked at him confused before sitting down in front of him. He looked at her with a stern expression but there was still care in his eyes, "I know what you're doing and it's not getting you nowhere. I don't think I can be the person that you want me to be, especially for your mom. She is a great woman, but I don't think what you want from us to happen, will happen." Daisy nodded in understanding and stood up with a guilty look on her face. He watched as she moved swiftly to the door and immediately felt bad for how he talked to her. "Daisy!" She didn't listen and continued out the door and slammed it shut. He sighed at what he had just done and put his hand over his mouth.
