I wake up around 7:30, I slowly get up as I realize what had happened yesterday wasn't a dream. I really do have to move. Again. I then remember school starts at 8:00 and I'm still in bed. I quickly get up, and get ready. I run downstairs to my dad sitting down eating breakfast. He turns to look at me and mumbles "Good morning.". I don't respond. "It's 7:50" I explain. "I know I was going to let you take the day off to pack. I noticed you haven't started yet." he insisted. "I want to go to school. I want to see Josh before we move away." I declared. He gets up and says "Fine you can go to school just start packing immediately when you get home." he groans. I went outside and got in the car, waiting for my dad to come out. When he got outside we drove to school. I was late, but at least I was there.

I got out of the car and before I was in the building my dad yelled: "Have a good day". I love my dad. I was just mad at him. So I turn around and wave at him before he pulls off. I can't stay mad at him for long.

I get to my first period class 20 minutes late. I get in and sit down next to Josh who always saves a seat for me. I hug him and talk to him all throughout class. I don't pay attention at all, all I can think of is how I have to leave my best friend behind. I go through all my classes with one thing on my mind, the move. I spend every second I can with Josh. At lunch, break, and in all the classes we have together. My dad pulls up as soon as school is over, I give Josh a long hug before I leave.

As soon as we get home I call Josh. We just talk and talk. About everything, about nothing, we even just stay on the phone with each other and do other stuff. Just because we enjoy each other's company. We do our homework together then watch our favorite show together. We watch it at our own houses but commentate over the phone. Our favorite show is Jane The Virgin. He's team Michael and I'm team Rafael so that can complicate our friendship sometimes. He has to go after being on the phone for almost 3 hours. "Bye," I sigh.

"Bye," he replies.

After getting off the phone I go downstairs. My dad is sitting at the table alone. I join him with a plate of Spaghetti. I sit down and we talk about our days. "Work was a bit harder today. I had difficult customers to deal with." He sighs. He's a consultant. "The firm I was consulting with today didn't like my feedback. In fact, they were very unappreciative of it. But that's business. How was school for you today? How is Josh doing?".

"School was okay, I couldn't focus at all today. All I thought about was the move." I explained. "And Josh is okay, his grandmother is in town for a couple of days. I hope I can hang out with him before we leave."I begged. My dad gets an uneasy look on his face. "What is it?" I wondered.

"Well sweetie, I think we will be gone before his grandmother leaves town. We don't have much time here. Maybe you can find some way to hang out with him before." he insisted. He continued "Maybe you can go over there while his grandmother is still there and you can hang out with him and his grandmother."

I feel myself boiling over with anger and sadness again, so I finish my dinner without another word, mumble good night and head upstairs. First I have to move now I might not be able to hang out with Josh before I leave. I get ready for bed, then call Josh. He doesn't pick up, he must be having dinner I think to myself.

I try to pack up a little at least a little. It takes a while for me to pack most of my things like my art and books. It always takes me a while to pack because I get so ...emotional. I finish packing up my art and books and lay down on my bed. And fall asleep. I'll finish packing tomorrow.

I wake up to the best surprise I could have before leaving. Josh sitting downstairs waiting for me on the couch. "Oh my gosh, how are you here. I thought you had to hang out with your grandmother." I screamed as I jumped and hugged him tightly.

"Your dad got me out of it for the day so that we could hang out," he explains. I turn to my dad who was standing in the kitchen and smile, he smiles back. I turn back towards Josh and give him another hug.

"Give me 5 minutes to get ready, I'll be back down, and we can head out."

I race upstairs as fast as I can, no time to waste. I brush my teeth, shower really quick, and put on my clothes. I run back downstairs, grab a piece of toast and head to the door with Josh. I pop my head back in the door and say "Bye dad, love you." Right now I have forgiven him for everything, I was just so excited to spend the day with Josh.

First, we go to our favorite arcade where I beat him in everything, I get to go out with a bang. Next, we go go-karting, it's our favorite thing of all time to do for fun. Next is our favorite pizza place, Tony's Pizza. We go there all the time, so we're basically best friends with Tony. After pizza, we go see three movies. The movies are Charlie's Angels, Joker, and Maleficent. Out of the three, our favorite was Charlie's Angels. Today was a day of favorite's, and it was a fun last hang out with my best friend. By the time we're finished with all of the movies, it's 11:37. Josh takes me home, not wanting the night to end I give him a hug and say good night. I sleep happily that night, thinking of all the good times we've had together.

I wake up sad, not ready for what is to come soon that afternoon. I finish packing my things, then head downstairs for breakfast. My dad is standing in the kitchen eating his breakfast. I pass by him without saying anything, he knows how upset I am so he doesn't say anything either except good morning. I went to the fridge, got orange juice and a piece of toast from the toaster. I ate my food, went upstairs and got ready.

When I got back downstairs my dad was already outside loading his things into the car. I headed outside and when I got out there Josh was standing there waiting for me. I hugged him really tight and really long. "I'm gonna miss you" I cried.

"I'm gonna miss you too," he whispered.

"Please don't let me go" I begged.

"I don't want to," he replied.

I was gonna miss him so much. I didn't let go of him for what seemed to be hours. My dad eventually called me to the car. Josh helped me load my things into the car. I gave him one more hug then got in. "Remember I will always be seven hours and thirty minutes away," he said.

"I won't forget" I replied. He stood in the driveway waving, I waved at him from the car. I waved even after I couldn't see him anymore.
