You and Kazuha had been enemies for as long as you could remember. Why? You had no idea.
"Hey loser," Someone whispered in your ear. You turned around to see Kazuha standing right behind you. He was wearing that stupid sleeveless black turtle neck that always made you question how you felt about him. That, paired with some light blue jeans was almost enough to make your knees go weak.
"Hey, stupid cornflake," You replied. He stared at you in astonishment.
"Stupid... cornflake...?" He looked at you like you were crazy. "Points for creativity, I suppose," He finished. You rolled your eyes and closed your locker.
"What do you want?" You asked, slightly annoyed. He crossed his arms.
"I wanted to hang out with my favourite person in the entire world. Obviously, I want to bug you," He replied sarcastically. You sighed and he grinned.
"Not the usual way, though~" He said, leaning close to your face.
"What are you doing?" You asked him. He only smirked at how you blushed. You were so confused at how this made you feel. You thought you hated him, but right now you had no idea. His hands were soft as they held your jawline. He brought his face closer to yours and was about to kiss you, but started laughing.
"Pfft- you should've seen the look on your face! Archons, you're cute," He laughed. You rolled your eyes and walked away.
"Don't roll your eyes at me, young lady! And where are you going?" He asked, following you.
"Class," You replied vaguely and rather annoyed. He sighed.
"Can I walk with you?" He asked hopefully. You nodded and started walking faster in hopes of losing him.
"Slow downnn~" He whined. When he saw you weren't listening, he took your hand in his, causing you to stop. He put a finger under your chin and made you look up at him.
"I told you to slow down, didn't I? Be good for me, won't you?" He mumbled, his face barely an inch from yours. You nodded slightly, careful not to bump heads. He smiled at this gesture and ruffled your already messy hair.
"Atta girl," He said, pulling away from your face and continuing to walk down the hall, hand in hand with you.

As soon as the bell rang you quickly picked up your bag and rushed out of the classroom. This had become a routine for you, as merely seeing Kazuha brought your mood down. That's probably a little harsh, as it could be worse, but you didn't care. He was still a bother to you.
"Heyyy~" Called a familiar voice behind you. You groaned and walked a bit faster, but a familiarly soft hand took yours and pulled you into a hug.
"Don't be so cold, darling," He mumbled. You attempted to squirm out of the hug, but his iron grip kept you in place. You surrendered into his arms and wrapped yours around his neck, nuzzling your face into it. He chuckled softly and squeezed you a bit before loosening up again.
"Okay, okay let me go now," You said looking up at him. He smiled and kissed you on the cheek before doing so. You looked up at him with wide eyes before looking down at the ground. He smiled at how much you were blushing from such a simple gesture.
"Can I walk you home?" He asked. You nodded and put your things in your bag. You flung the bag over your shoulder and started walking, Kazuha right beside you. The two of you walked in silence and he occasionally attempted to make conversation, but you shut him down with your vague answers. He sighed.
"I have a question," You stated, finally breaking the awkward and uncomfortable silence. You could see the excitement in his eyes when you turned your head to look at him.
"What's up?" He asked, smiling at the fact you were finally talking to him. You fidgeted with your hands, suddenly nervous to ask. His cheerful smile faded into that of a more worried one. He gently took your hand in his, stopping and then holding the other.
"You can ask me anything, you know." He told you softly. You smiled for a second before looking at the ground.
"It's not that important." You stated, before squirming out of his hold and walking away. He looked at you with a bit of concern before following you the rest of the way to your house.
