Getting out of bed everyday might be one of that largest struggles. If I get up I commit to going to school and being an active member of society today. Each minute ticked by to quicker than the last. Once the clock hit seven o' three I slowly peeled the black and blue plaid covers back

A pair of black jeans on top of the mound of dirty clothes seemed suitable. They fit snug in my waist along with the black bullet studded belt. Muffled recognizable sounds came from my bed, sifting around I pulled the small phone from the blankets.

"hey, you ready?" A perky voice spoke from the other end.
"Yeah, I'll be out in a ... minutes." I slowly responded shoved the pack of cigarettes into my back pocket along with a lighter. My Deftones hoodie ceased to exist in my dimly lit room. With the tattered black canvas bag slung over my shoulder I walked down the wooden stair case and through the door.

It's so humiliating always having to get rides from my girlfriend because I'd rather spend my money on this band that's not going anywhere. I pulled the silver door open and threw my bag on the floor as I sat down. She reached back and pulled a black wad from the backseat.
"You left your hoodie at my house last night." She smiled. I pulled it over the thin black shirt I was wearing.
"Thanks" I kissed her soft pink cheeks. "oh I got you a coffee" her higher pitched voice commented over the screamed coming from the speakers. "Thanks again" I picked it up taking a sip.
"Do you have band practice today?" She asked turning into the school parking lot.
"Yeah, around 6. You can come if you want." I picked up my bag and tan cup gently closing the door. I waited for her to walk around to start towards the side entrance. As we neared the door I took a final drag from the chalky pale stick before throwing it to the ground. I transferred the cup to my other hand lacing my fingers into hers.

Even though we've been dating for a while she still smiles every time. She walked up to one of the light grey lockers and opened it pulling out two large textbooks and placing them in her bag. "You ready for the pre-calc test?" She questioned. I remained staring at the photos taped up on the locker door. "nah" I shrugged. Four out of the seven photos were of me and her, laying on a couch, kissing, prom, and dressed up for our anniversary dinner. One of her cats, one of her with her parents, and the last of her at a party.

"I made you an equation card just incase." she smiled handing it to me.
I slid it into my pocket and kept my arm on her waist. Up the stairs we walked into the classroom, the back corner was the only place in the class room I felt semi comfortable. A packet face down on my desk was enough to raise my heart beat.

I pulled out a pencil and put in my ear buds playing the first song on shuffle.
"You have the entire hour, you may start." an elderly voice spoke. I flipped it over and looked blankly at the paper. Even the blank line next to the word name puzzled me. Who am I?

The muffled sound of a bell rung and I folded the packet back to the first page leaving it on the desk.
"How'd you do?" Her sweet voice asked.
"I tried." I told her.
"That's all that counts." she stood in her toes placing a soft kiss on my unshaven face. We walked down the hallway when I herd a slight rumble.
"You skip breakfast?" I asked her.
"Yeah, I woke up late." she admitted looking down.
"Come on let's hit the vending machines." I suggested walking down the stairs.
"We're gonna be late and I have to change out for p.e." she stopped.
"Yeah." I agreed. She quickly walked to the gym before the bell rung. I went into the secluded room and pulled out my wallet. The machine accepted it producing a cold water bottle and granola bar.

I herd the sound of feet hitting the hard wooden floor from inside. I opened the door to see about thirty girls jogging in circles. Her hair up in a tight pony tail, wearing a tight fitting As I Lay Dying shirt and purple shirts.
"You gotta go to class before you get in trouble." She said stopping in front of me.
"I didn't want you to work out on an empty stomach." I explained giving her the contents of my hand.
"Awe thanks." She smiled gently placing her lips on mine.
"Carter two more laps, Dennen out of my class unless your gonna put on some shorts and run yourself." Her coach yelled across the room.
"I'll see you later." she brushed her hand against my shoulder.
