Unexpected

Moving

Surrey. Chelsea.
She really couldn't believe it was happening. Who is she you ask? She is me.
Hi, my name is Megan and this is how my life changed moving 5 hours away from home to start focusing on life.

Today was the day that I moved to Surrey. After travelling nearly 5 hours from my home town to Surrey I was finally arriving at my new home. Being 23 and moving to Surrey I really didn't think I could do it but with the amazing family that I have, they all made it possible.

"Oh. My. God" said Felix. Felix is my best friend from home, I managed to persuade him to come down for a week with me to help me unpack and sort the house as I have time before I start my job in a weeks time.
As I looked at Felix we both stood there and really took it all in. I felt like I made it. I felt proud. With so much help from family and working so many hours since 15 I was able to purchase the house of my dreams.
"I'm so proud of you megs, this house is just perfect I can't believe it!" Felix said as we both got to the front door. As I turned and opened the door, we were greeted by the hallway in all its glory. "I'm really doing this shit!" I squealed to him. We both looks at each other and started screaming. As I calmed down I hugged my best friend and let it all sink in that this is what my life is now. "I wish you would come down here and live with me I don't know what I'll do without you living round the corner from me anymore" I cried.
The thing is as I grew up I've been passionate about makeup and felix as my gay best friend has always had a talent for hair. He's amazing. He currently works in a salon back home that he enjoys but it's not really the big dream if you get me.
But when I found out about the acceptance of my new job and adventure I tried to get him to follow me down here and live out his dream. Felix is currently searching for salons here in Surrey and the london area but nothing has appeared as of yet.
Felix turned to me, "I'm praying an amazing salon or opportunity to go mobile comes up so I can join you here." I nodded along to him, "fingers crossed for you bitch" we laughed. Suddenly we heard a vehicle travelling up my path. Turning to see what had interrupted us was the moving vans I had organised to move my new furniture and decor from storage to my home. "It's timeeeeee!".

Sighing we both rolled up our sleeves and got ready to spend the day organising and running about. I skipped down the steps to meet the moving men, "morning guys, thank you so much for getting here early". We all said our hellos and go to work.
