We arrived at Kings cross station at 10:50, 10 minutes before the bloodily barrier shuts, i blame James personally.
As we're running at full speed down platform 8, i hear an almighty thud, as i turn i see Remus laying face down on the platform floor, a few older women kneeing down to help him up. It was 2 weeks after the full moon and his hips was playing up again so i wasn't cross just impatient. So barging my way past the now growing group of concerned passers by i knelt down and grabbed my whining brother by the arm and dragged him as fast as i could towards 9 3/4s.

We did make it in the end Mrs potter looking desperately worried, coming over to me and the dishevelled looking Remus; immediately staring to fuss around him.
James was no where to be seen probably already on the train.

The platform was packed, full of crying mothers waving there final goodbye and small 1st years refusing to leave them. I wished Mr and Mrs potter goodbye and help Remus slowly to get on the train. We headed first to the marauders carriage as they called it, because they had claimed it first year. claimed isn't really the right term it was more anyone that knew them knew not to go into that carriage other wise all hell would break lose. To me it was like every other carriage there.
As we near the door we were greeted by a short pudgy looking boy, called peter. Peter was one of the marauders Remus friend group of four. Peter was probably the one i knew the least he was very shy around me or any girl for that matter. Never the less as he came out he gave me a huge grin.
"shit" he commented when seeing Remus "you look ruff mate"
" really didn't notice" Remus rasped.

I took that as my cue to get Remus inside before he passed out there and then.
As we entered i saw two boys sat opposite each other next too the bright windows of the carriage, deep in conversation hardly even looking up when we entered. However when i stumbled forwards as remus's weight grew heavier under my arms, they both looked up in shock.
"moony"! sirius gasped as i helped him down next to the worried looking boy.
" i'm fine just fell over that's all" he breathed trying to give the most convincing look he could. i saw through it however.
"wondered what was taking you so long" James commented as sat down in the space next to him.

"Yeah the twat, fell face first onto the platform"
"Hey! my hip been a nightmare that's not fair" Remus protested
"i know i know i'm very sorry, just the Barrier was about to close, and then what where we going to do hey, drive James's dads car to Hogwarts?"
laugher filled the carriage.

After a while peter had returned with snacks, (he had tracked down the trolley lady before everything had been bought.
"Jeeze wormtail,i didn't mean buy the trolley" James chuckled launching a chocolate frog at sirius.

There was a constant chat about what we had done over the holidays and what new pranks they were planning to pull this year, until about half way i looked up from my lap where James had enchanted one of the frogs to sit, and saw Remus. His head bobbing as he was fighting with sleep. I giggled kicking James who covered his mouth to muffled a laugh. Sirius who had now noticed kicked us both hard in the shines and mouthed shut up under his breath. I smiled slightly to myself, they really did like each other and care, after about 10 minutes of Remus abruptly waking himself up desperate to be involved in the conversation; me and the other marauders went quite and allowed him to fully fall asleep. Slumping down onto sirius's shoulder snoring slightly as sirius just blushed.

After that the conversation was mainly about quidditch and me not understanding the game or having the foggiest idea what they were on about decided to bid them a goodbye and headed off the find my friends which where further down the carriage.

As i arrived in carriage we normally sat in i was immediately engulfed in a rib crushing hug, from leah.
"hey,hey it's only been 2 months" i gasped as she finally let me sit down

Leah had been my best friend from day one,
she was a loud, small brown haired girl who had freckles which covered every inch of her skin. She always had a broad smile on her face and her black cat rosie under her arm.

"we thought you weren't coming" she shrieked (she is also a bit dramatic if i didn't mention that before)

"yeah sorry Remus had a bad fall on the platform, so i wanted to make sure he was alright"

"where is he now" she asked

"with his friends, asleep" i replied, i knew what was coming next, so i don't know why i was surprised.

"oh them" she scoffed rolling her eyes and slumping back onto her seat.
"so you where sat with them the whole time"

"yes leah, seriously there not that bad"
she just scoffed again.
so i turned my attention to the rest on my friends,Maddy, jack and Oliver.
Like leah i had know them all since 1st year and now going into my 4th year they had become very close friends of mine.

Maddy was tall, She had bright ginger hair and light green eyes.
Jack was also tall and had light blonde hair which fell in every direction but the one he wanted. And finally Oliver was short and thin, with dark black hair quite like sirius's long and shiny. However personality wise he was nothing like sirius, or James for that matter and i liked that they were my friends. and i loved each and everyone.
