Though the previous few days had been at a nice, stable temperature, now it was not only sunnier but quite a bit warmer as well. Before this trip to Liyue, Scaramouche was stationed in Snezhnaya for a while, so it was understandable why he seemed to be struggling with the current forecast.

Snezhnaya was almost always cold, even during the summer months, so this type of weather was foreign to him. Though he had to admit, the weather in Liyue was pretty similar to that of Inazuma. It felt comforting in a way.

Of course, he was just on his way to the docks to set sail for Inazuma, or so he was told. Though someone seemed to be running late. It seemed way out of character for Kazuha to be late, even if he'd only known him a few days.

Scaramouche sat near the docks with a small bag of his stuff. He hadn't packed much, Fatui soldiers were always taught to pack light just in case of an emergency. He had to be ready to get up and leave at any time of the day. Not to mention, he wasn't sure if he completely trusted Kazuha yet. For all he knew, he could've had ill intentions. He promised himself to keep his guard up around him.

Though not to act narcissistic, Scaramouche felt he would've already spotted if he was a spy or not. He was quite keen in his abilities to see through people.

Yet as of recently, sometimes he struggled to know what Kazuha was thinking. His type of personality was always the hardest to decode. So carefree and calm, it was almost scary. If Scaramouche had been any other person, he might've gone as far as to say he would be terrified. Although, he was a harbinger, so he had no reason to fear Kazuha in the slightest.

As he sat around for a few more minutes, he got to thinking. Why was he doing this anyway?

It all happened so fast that he didn't quite get the chance to fully grasp the situation. There's no way Kazuha would have agreed to travel with him for no reason. Surely he had other intentions. Scaramouche felt that, soon enough, Kazuha would reveal his true intentions, that way he could prove he was right all along.

Without finishing that thought, a shadow began to cover the floor from which was in front of him. He pointed his gaze upwards to see the white haired man standing there. Though to his surprise, he was totally empty handed.

"There you are. Why are you so late? And where is your stuff?" Scaramouche started interrogating him while glancing around the man's figure, searching for any bags he might have.

Kazuha replied, "Hm? My belongings are already on the boat."

Confused, Scaramouche stood up, a bit annoyed, "Then why on earth were you so late?"

He simply smiled back at him, "I was just taking care of some things. Nothing to fret over, I assure you. Well, shall we get going?" Kazuha began to walk towards the boat they would be taking, leaving Scaramouche to just watch him in utter disbelief.

Scaramouche couldn't help but scoff at the verbal exchange they just had, but he decided to overlook it, since they were supposed to leave the docks about an hour ago.

As the two began to board the ship, Kazuha turned his head back, "If you don't mind, what is your real name? It might look suspicious if I introduce you as Scaramouche." It was understandable, he was bringing a very dangerous Fatui harbinger on board his captain's ship, which could be a possible cause of concern.

"As if I'd tell my real name to the likes of you." Scaramouche responded, rolling his eyes as if he was an angsty teenager speaking to his father.

Kazuha sighed, "Then don't blame me if you don't approve of the fake name I give you."
