CHAPTER 1 - First Encounter

Two girls we're standing in front of the store wearing comfortable jacket since it was snowing. Nae L/N, the girl with L/H (A/N: Lenght Hair) spoke. "I'll wait for you outside." Ji Yeonhi, her cousin nod. Her cheeks flushed pink, must be from the cold weather.

Ji Yeonhi took a deep breath before going in. Nae sighed, looking around. As Yeonhi went to the cashier, she was a blushing mess. The cashier was dumbfounded, kept analyzing the prize. "Could you.. Do it Quickly?" She said. The cashier looks at her lazily, then back at the pad. Some customer from the back trip over on something and fall face flat. Yeonhi flinched, nervous. "Quickly, please." She insist. "Do you want me to put it on the black plastic?" She nod.

"Overnight sanitary pads with wings. That's 6, 500 won." Said the cashier guy. The man from behind went to the cashier's counter, limping like he was drunk. Yeonhi immediately pull her money out. "If you buy two, you get one free." Yeonhi shook her head. "No thanks." She said.

"It's on sale. Why don't you buy another one-" "It was my last day!" She spat out. She cover up her mouth. Nae facepalm, she heard her yell from outside. "Ommo." She mumble. The cashier look at her dumbfounded.

Yeonhi whimpers, rushing out at the store and grabs Nae's arm. "Nae, gaja." She said, dragging her. "W-Wait! Hold on Yeonhi." She exclaimed.

"Arghh, my face is burning." Yeonhi said, touching her cheeks. "Gwaenchanh-euseyo? You are blushing mess." Asked Nae, worriedly. Yeonhi smiles. "Gwaenchanh-a. At least I got the pads." She said.
"Anyway, I hope he gets replaced. He's a slowpoke." Yeonhi complains.

"I saw him, actually. But, forgive him though." Nae let out a chuckle, patting Yeonhi's back.

Suddenly, they feel someone was walking behind them. Yeonhi looks back, she saw four people are walking along with them. "Nae..." She whisper but Nae didn't heard her and focus on the road. Yeonhi kept looking back and forth at the four men behind them. Since it was dark, she wasn't able to reconize or see their faces.

Who are they? Why are they following us? Who the hell are they? Asked Yeonhi inside their mind.

"So were stuck here for three months, right?" Asked one of the guys from the back. "Yup." Some of them answer. "It will be all over the net by tomorrow." "Be quiet. Do you want everyone to know?" Asked the deep voice of a male. "Man, we should have take care of it." He said. The other one grunt. "Why is Matilda so heavy?" Suddenly, Yeonhi stopped.

"Ma-Matilda?" She stutter.

Thinking of a dead woman that the four men was carrying. Nae glances back at the female left in a trance. "Yeonhi?" One of the streetlights explode. Yeonhi panicked, but as she took a step, she step on a banana's peal. She let out a yelp and scream.

Letting her fall to the ground as her pads flew in the air. "Yeonhi!" Nae rushes over to her. "Yeonhi? Yeonhi." Nae shakes her shoulder but Yeonhi won't wake up.

Please don't come. They're gonna kill us. No, me. It's not the last day of my period. It's the last day on the earth! What should I do? Should I act dead? No, Nae you should run. Leave me here. Don't come. Don't come. Don't come. Yeonhi yelled inside her head.

"Gwaenchanh-a?" Asked one of the men, holding Yeonhi's pads. As Yeonhi finally opens her eyes, the four men including Nae look down at her. Her eyes widened. Serial Killers!?

She stood up. She throws the plastic and began to scream, running away from them. "What the..." "What's with her?" Asked the four men starts chuckling and laughing. "Yeonhi wai-! Aigoo, she left me." Nae whined. Nae starts walking away until someone called her.

"Excuse me!" One of them yelled. The tall guy approach to Nae, holding Yeonhi's pads she bought earlier. Handing it to her. His face was covered but their eyes met. She notice that it was familiar but she shook it off. "Your crazy friend drop this." He said. Nae took it away from his large hands and bow. "Ne, Gamsahabnida, and I'm so sorry about her. She must be freaked out because of you guys. I-I um... Must get going too, geuleom." She bows at them again and bid farewell. "She seems nice." Was the last thing she heard before she was far away from them.
