Yanfei's POV

i saw mama bowed down and present herself to the other cloacked people i noticed one who had a snake around his neck i gasp and run to them i notice grampa watching over me "hello mister !" the man look down at me smiling with a raised eyebrow "i have a question why do you have a snake around your neck ?" the man looked suprised and laugh he gently pet the snakes head before speaking "it's actually my friend young one but tell me who are you ?" i perk up at his cloack i smile and bow a bit like granny taught me "i'm yanfei i'm the daugher of mama ganyu over there talking with grampa" as i spoke i gently point at mom and grampa who look at me smiling the mister hummed a smiled on his face he bend down and pick me up i noticed the snake smiling (?) at me

I tilt my head to thé side and stare at them they all laugh as mom gently pick me up from his laps while hé wave at me i wave back smiling "mama why are we hère ?" She giggle softly and sat down next to grandpa before letting me go i noticed mom looking up and staring at some before huffing and looking at grandpa talking about stuff

I noticed thé short boy from this morning and smile i tried to jump off her laps but felt her keeping me there "no yanfei, stay hère for now" i pout and look up noticing birds i notice mom arguing with grandpa i used it to sneak away i sneakly transform and crawl Closer to thé birds who lands nearby i turn rapidly to noticed no one looking my way i turn back to thé birds and prépare to pounce i Heard small footstep i felt a hand push my body lowers "you won't catch liké this kid" i turn to see the electro girls sisters laying down i was about to pounce when she kept me there "not yet look...there wary of your présence now..." I frown a bit and turn back to them i wait for awhile "i'll help ya...claws out, choose one" i did as told and growl softly "now!" I jump and got one biting it's neck until i Heard a crunch i stand up and watch as thé other birds flew away i smile and turn around seeing thé girl site and laughing i run UP to her changing to a sort if humanoid form "thank's for helping me hum..." She smile and giggle "m'y name is ei i'm thé electro's archons sibling please to meet you yanfei" she smile at me i smile back and turn to mom to see her looking around i sile and ran back to her holding thé bord i noticed grandpa looking at me suprised with a smile i stop behind mom "mama i have a gift for you" she turn around rapidly staring at me

I smile at her and showed her thé bird "here you go !" She gulp and took thé bird she look at it and laugh a bit "thank you dear" i felt my ears twitch i turn to find wind coming down i noticed mom grumble a bit and pick me up "mama ? why are you so tense ?" she sigh and point to the others archons "it's because i don't want you to end up zffilzted to become there envoy and i don't want to let you off to there nations..." granpa was about to speak but she cut him off "don't. she's a xiezhe and a cub at that she WILL stay with me or i swear to god i'll put an end to the contract to bring her back home" he gulp and look back somewhere to the tiny thing flooting infront of the two looking alike person i look at mom to see her glare to a silver head girl who was talking with a black haired one before vanishing i look at mama and yawne i noticed mom looking at me "you can sleep yanfei don't worry i'll be here when you wake up" i frown a bit as i felt cold on my back "promise ?" mom nod at me before kissing my forehead "promise" i smile a bit and clung to her closing my eyes i felt mom move a bit so that i could be comfortable after a few minute i felt my body relaxe and then...nothing

Ganyu's pov:

i ggently run my hand threw her hair and stand up gently i turn to morax and whisper over to him "we'll be going home now yanfei is tired and it's been hours we've also been here" he nod at me and gently ruffle yanfei's hair "be safe on the way hom" i nod with a smile and left before anyone could see i shape shift and gently hold yanfei on my head i was extremly carefull so that she didn't fall once i saw i was getting close the harbourg i switch to a human form holding yanfei closer to me

i hummed a lullaby that was sung to me when i was younger it felt rassuring still knowing it for some reason i losen a little bit my grip on her as i stop in front of my home, unlock the door and enter it i close the door behind me and walk upstairs

i enter her room to find xiao putting a rex lapis plush down on yanfei's bed he turn to me and noticed yanfei he relaxed a bit and smile "a...a gift for her...in case she feel alone" i smile warmly at him and put her down on her bed i noticed she brought the plush close to her hugging it i smile from how cute it was 'if one day there is a law that forbit anyone from being cute she would be the first one on the list' i sigh and turn to my brother "come on xiao let's go we don't want to wake her up" he nod and gently pat her head before leaving the room i close her door behind me and we both went to the kitchen "so is there a real reason as to why you came here except for giving her a plush ?" he gulp and look away "a "war" is getting closer ganyu...and i'm afraid for yanfei..." i remain silent and stare at him wide eye "what..?"
