???'s POV
Regular high school dude in a regular class, what could go wrong? Well, there's stuff like daily fights, pissing off teachers, underage drinking, the list goes on. For me though, there's even more shitty things. A certain 5'1 purple haired brat and his hypersexual friend are at the top of my list personally. He annoys the living hell out of me, with the blonde "genius" just adding on to it. Honestly, it's like a game. This game is probably called "Who can annoy Kaito the most?", and it's a clear favourite. Oh yeah, forgot to introduce myself! I'm Kaito Momota, I'm a bit of a loner but I have 2 friends, Maki Harukawa and Shuichi Saihara, although they hang out with their own friends a bit more. I just lay around, drawing constellations in every one of my jotters and writing out stuff I'd do to go to space, keeps me focused and keeps me in a decent mindset. Also forgot to say, this whole space thing? REALLY. FUCKIN. AWESOME. Hence why everyone says I'm constantly spaced out! But back to the true topic: This hell hole of a school.

I headed to my first class - English. Shuichi's in my English class, I sit next to him actually. I got out my personal reading book and the class went silent. Peace perfect peace, or so I thought. I felt a nudge from next to me and I looked up.

Shuichi's POV
So much for Kaito being spaced out, I'm now in his position. I honestly had a short moment that I forgot what class we were in. He's really invested into his book, now I feel bad for disturbing him. "You okay Shuichi?" He gave me his usual bright smile. "Uh, yeah. What are we doing today?" I ask, pulling out every one of my jotters trying to read the titles on them that I must have scribbled on incredibly fast at the start of the year, with a pencil may I add. "I think today's just reading, gives us a break before PE I suppose." The purple haired self-proclaimed "Luminary of the Stars" said with an eye roll. I sighed, reading is the absolute worst, it's boring, consumes so much time that you could be using for doing something productive, and to top it off, it's hard. Every aspect of it just frustrates me. I messily shoved all of the jotters back into my bag getting out a true crime novel. I then sat back, but I could not concentrate at all.

"AND THEN DICK CHEESE SAID THE DUMBEST THING EVER, HE FOUND IT TOO FUCKIN LOUD!!" The other two at our table were laughing like hyenas. I heard slight sighs come from Kaito and I was getting more and more concerned by the second. I have to help him. "Kaito Kaito Kaito-" I gave him a slight tap as he flinched away. "Nononono it's none of those pieces of shit it's just me!" He turned round to show that he was listening but barely even looked at me, his eyes were darting around everywhere. "All I'm gonna ask is a few questions, you only need to say yes or no, deal?" I tried my hardest to smile so I also didn't get reigned into Thing 1 and Thing 2's pile of gossip. "...deal." It took him a second but Kaito replied. "Okay, thanks for agreeing. Have they done this before to you?" He slightly nodded his head. "Yep, a million times." "Alright, do you wanna leave and take a minute?" He thought about it for another second. "...Sure." "Cool, I'll come keep you company." We got up to the desk only for Kokichi to start tee-hee-ing yet again.

"OH MY GOD, THE CRYBABY IS LEAVING! AHAHAHAHA!" Miu also joined in and formed some sort of cat's choir of laughter. Kaito wiped his tears slightly. "Shut up Kokichi, I'm trying my best here-" "You clearly aren't, if we're going percentages here, I'd sayyyy... uhhh... 15%. You haven't left yet so you get bonus points." "...15?" "No, I said 90." He rolled his eyes. "You said 15-" "OH MY GOD, MIU MIU MIUUUU!! MR 'I CAN'T TAKE A JOKE' IS AT IT AGAIN!" The laughter started again as Kaito stormed out. I briskly followed on while screaming at Kokichi and Miu. "THAT'S REALLY NASTY KOKICHI, DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT AGAIN." My breathing was going faster and faster as I was really worried about him. Lucky for me, he sat in an old social area that I knew about on a sofa trying to stop himself from screaming.
