💜A/N: You possess really powerful magic. So why be scared?

It was late at night and you had to complete an experiment as it was due tomorrow. Gently you take the tube and pour the liquid into another container hoping that it would work. You were really tired of doing this over and over again. It seems that there was still something missing you rechecked everything once more to see that you had forgotten to mix the stones of amethyst with the mixture. You sigh and rest our head on the table. Slowly someone took hold of your hand.

???: Goodness me!

Y/N: Oh! Barbatos.

Barbatos: Honey, what are you doing at an hour like this?

Y/N: Tell me what you're doing here first.

Barbatos: The young master just had a meeting with Lucifer. So I too had to stand by.

Y/N: I see. Well I was completing my assignment it seems to be really difficult as I still am unable to successfully complete this. It looks like I have to stay here for a few more hours.

Barbatos: Just a moment love.

Y/N: Oh umm sure.

He swept away. For a moment you started to feel lonely but you decided that was nothing to get worried over and hence proceeded to continue the experiment. You went for straight 2 hours of experimenting and kept failing. You started to feel really dizzy and bashed your head against the wall. You got a bit hurt but you regained composure. You felt a soft bit of cotton rubbing against your head. You turned to see Barbatos helping you with the cut you made on yourself. He looked strangely angry at you.

Barbatos: Darling, you should take care of yourself more.

Y/N: You are still here?

Barbatos: Yes, I asked my lord if I could spend some time with you. Helping you.

Y/N: Oh I see..

A slight tint of red started forming across your face. You were surprised to hear Barbatos being really considerate. He is as always, though there is something special about the consideration you receive from Barbatos when compared to the others. He is more warmer. He applies some ointment to heal you from the pain.

Y/N: Its alright Barbatos.

Barbatos: For me it really looks painful. Anyways, Mind showing me what you have done?

Y/N: Surely.

Barbatos starts to closely pay attention to my experiment and notices that there are quite a few mistakes.

Y/N: Somethings the matter?

Barbatos: Yes indeed. I believe most of the mistakes were regarding the speed that you used to pour the mixtures together. You might need to be a bit more slower with it. I shall instruct you. 

He instructs you throughout the entire process. You follow each and every step he instructs you to do. After 1/2 an hour you finally successfully complete the experiment and wrote your observations on paper and Barbatos assessed it one last time and with that it was finally over. You were exhausted. You rested your head on the table and slowly drifted to sleep. After a few moments I woke up at Barbatos's bedroom. He was there in the room with me he seemed to be busy. I crept up behind him and hugged him from behind.

Barbatos: Oh! Y/N your awake. So, are you feeling better? You were quite the adorable one as you were sleeping, you looked rather peaceful.

Y/N: Ahh. hehe I slept. well I really was tired after all that. Soo you didn't take any photos or anything did you?

Barbatos: Maybe, but will you let me keep it if I promise that I won't show it to anyone.

Y/N: Fine, what are you up to?

Barbatos: Nothing much just scrolling through a few documents from RAD.

Y/N: Hmm I see. need any help?

Barbatos: Darling I'm just reading.

Y/N: Yeah exactly I could read it to you.

You said as you kept him close to you feeling his warmth. He smiled and gently placed you back on the bed followed with a kiss on the cheek.

Barbatos: Darling, your really tired you need more rest. So, go on take some rest you deserve it. I will provide you with anything you'd possibly need but for now take some rest...

You slowly drifted into a very deep sleep as he kept talking. The very next morning you woke up with him lying next to you. You slowly crept forward and hugged him.

Barbatos: Oh how lovely it is to see you like this.

Y/N: So your awake? I didn't realize. Oh wait you were pretending to be asleep weren't you! You sly devil.

Barbatos: *chuckles* Why yes I was. I was just staring at you throughout I couldn't help it, you looked so peaceful.

He gave you a quick kiss on the forehead and used one hand to wrap around your body while using the other to caress your cheeks. You felt really warm and calm around him. It feels like you could stay with him like this forever❤️‍🔥. You gave him a little kiss on the neck. He kept gazing at you and you just laid down with him while enjoying his presence.

Barbatos: You were fast asleep that I had to carry you to the Demon lord's castle. When I placed you on the bed you said something along the lines of "Barbatos darling, your so gorgeous and I'm proud to have you as my husband". Those words just filled me with pride. In fact, I wanted to always be at my best when I'm around you like you deserve. Because honey, you are deserving.

Those gentle words of his made you more comfortable and you slowly whispered

Y/N: You are the most best treat I've ever gotten in my life I need not have or need anything else besides you. Just stay as you are. You are perfect in your own way.  And you are all I need all I need to live.

You both kissed each others lips and kept hugging on and on. You hugged him tightly and Barbatos told you "Honey, I will keep you under my security always. Cause your important to me. I love you my sweet."

OOF finally the end. My fingers hurt of all the typing. At the beginning when I started writing I was listening to the Lo-fi music included here but now I am listening  to Markiplier playing granny the 2018 edition (I am way too outdated :(). Either way this is my second time writing here on Wattpad though I deleted my first story as I lacked inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed this story and hopefully be able to write more stories i the future but for now..
