Intro

Emerald's POV 

Hi!  I am Emerald , I'm the second youngest sibling.  I have light green hair I dyed it Darry didn't really approve of that  I was also like 12 when I did that, he wasn't too happy but he got over it .  I have green eyes.   I am nice to everyone well I try to be even the socs though sometimes it is hard to be nice to them. I am also gonna try out for the cheer squad but it's led by this soc named Cherry Valance  I'm a bit nervous she seems kinda stuck up and judging.  anyway I have two other brothers , Sodapop he is sixteen he is nicer then Darry , darry is mean and too strict sometimes , Ponyboy feels  the same  so he agreess with me . Darry and Ponyboy are always arguing with each other even more trhan I argue with him , Soda and I don't like it when they fight  we do get along moost of the time sort of.. 

I have a best friend her name is Ally Matthews , she is Two Bit's sister.    In my free time I hang out with my bestie  and the gang I also like reading and going to the movies like Ponyboy. I like art though Darry wishes I would be on the track team instead of doing art but I'm, not doing that . Anyway darry is also always nagging me and Pony about our grades too hge wants us to get all B's at least   but I;m not a very good student , i lose focus so easily , get fidgetity , and math confuses me . I sometimes talk too much and get in trouble for it at school, i get implusive sometimes too ,I'mnot  a bad kid I think I just struggle when it comes to school , everyone thinks I'm this bad kid but I domn't mean to be , Soda comforted me after darry yelled at me once about school Soda also knows I'm not a bad kid and that I'm trying but struggling Soda thinks I may have adhd which is a learning disorder which makes it harder to focus and can causse more impulsivity , he thinks darry should get me tested for it so if I do have it they can give me medicine to help me but Darry disagrees and thinks I'm just not trying hard enough. 

Oh and our parents are dead , they died  around eight months ago in a automobile crash , it has been hard for all of us .  we all miss them . Darry is trying his best to take care of us but I think sometimes he is over doing that with all his stict rules , I get it but sometimes it's too much pressure .  

Anyway, tomorrow is my first day of sophomore year , my plan is to hang out with Ally , try out for the cheer squad , try to make my grades met Darry's standards , stay out oftrouble  and get a boyfriend .     So this is the start of my story there are many adventures ahead , I'm looking forwa4rd to that bye for now gotta get some rest before tomorrows adventure!
