(Fruit of the poisoned tree)

"Ah" Hayley groaned holding onto the side of her neck. "What the hell was that" Rebekah urged walking towards the wolf who was looking at the blood on her fingers that had come from her neck. "Hell if I know. It felt like I was being stabbed" Hayley complained. "Well that's because your a danger magnet love" Nora smirked standing at the door. "I thought you were asleep" Rebekah asked narrowing her eyes at her sister.

"I was going to sleep but then I thought why not drink instead, and then that plan got ruined when I heard our little wolf over here yelp in pain" Nora smiled. "Anyways, are you alright sweetheart" Nora asked turning her attention onto the wolf. "Yeah, I'm fine" Hayley assured the oldest girl as the blonde left the room.

"Sit down, I'm going to assume whatever you were just stabbed with is going to cause problems and I'd appreciate it if you waited until Nik got back for you to faint or die so I don't get blamed" Ellanora joked. "How thoughtful of you" Hayley laughed but followed the girls orders.

"It's time for the demon spawn to snack" Rebekah stated as she walked back into the room with a bowl of apples. "I really wish you wouldn't call her that" Hayley told Rebekah. "I'm sorry, have you picked another name yet?" Rebekah snarked more than asked. "Take one. The plantations lousy with them" the blonde told the wolf as she offered her an apple.

Ellanora got up from where she was sitting and grabbed one from Rebekah. "I don't remember offering you one Ella" Rebekah exclaimed jokingly. "Good job I don't care" Ellanora grinned taking a bite out of the apple dramatically as she fell backwards onto the couch opposite Hayley.

"Be careful Rebekah apples make good weapons. You know that as well as I " Nora said hiding her laugh as she bit into her apple again. Her sister knew that she was indicating back to two centuries ago when they first met Marcel and just rolled her eyes in response.

"How's you neck?" Rebekah commented putting the bowl down. "I feel fine, which is weird. I'm sure this is something Sophie related" Hayley assured. "Well like Ella said do us a favor and don't die on our watch or we'll never hear the end of it" Rebekah remarked seriously. "You know when I first met you I thought you were a real bitch" Hayley grinned. "What changed your mind?" Rebekah asked now curious.

"Oh, I still think your a bitch. I've just grown to like that about you" Hayley cleared up smiling making the blonde original laugh. "Well you got that one right" Nora inputted laughing. "You're no better" Hayley added humbling the brunette. "I don't know what your talking about darling, I would class myself as many things but I'm not so sure about a bitch" Nora defended.

"Oh shut up Ellanora. Don't lie your just as bad as me" Rebekah laughed, it wasn't often anyone got to see this side of her sister, the carefree side that wasn't serious. Her only sister had grown very up tight and closed of over the centuries and whilst she was around Hayley she seemed to be letting her old self back in, the one that would pull her younger sister from her bed at early hours in the morning so they could explore the forests without any of their brothers watching over them.

The girl that loved to draw beside her brother as he painted whatever landscape they could find. The Ellanora from 900 years ago was definitely Rebekah's favourite version because she wasn't murderous she was just Ella. That's the girl that Rebekah would gladly call her best friend.

"Well that's sweet of you to say. Remember it when I'm gone" Rebekah added. "Oh finally, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to say that" Nora sighed in relief. "Why?" Rebekah asked her sister confused. "Because I'm coming with you" Nora said like it was obvious making Rebekah light up, someone was choosing her over Niklaus or Elijah.

"Gone where are going?" Hayley smiled looking between the two sisters. "We only came to town to make sure everything was okay with Elijah. He's fine, and he hasn't punished Klaus for daggering him, so as usual they'll be thick as thieves and we'll be left to clean up the mess. It's time for me to fly the coop" Rebekah explained glancing at her sister when Hayley turned to her for an explanation as well.

"Look, like Rebekah said we came to check on Elijah, he's perfectly fine and I never wanted to be in this god forsaken city in the first place. No offense darling but if Elijah never got daggered I wouldn't have come back. Not even to meet my niece, life doesn't go the way you plan and even immortal beings can die so I'm going back to taking a break from family minus Rebekah of course as far away from here as humanly possible" Nora told the wolf her playful mood dissipating as her sister looked at her sympathetically.

"Oh" Hayley said about to take a bite from her apple as she swayed slightly becoming dizzy. Ellanora saw this and stood up abruptly as she walked over to the wolf. "What's wrong?" Rebekah urged. "I don't know, probably morning sickness" Hayley said. "Oh your burning up actually" Rebekah said putting her hand on the younger girls head. "We need to take her upstairs where she can lie down" Nora told her sister.

"Are you alright to walk?" Rebekah asked receiving a nod in response. Hayley stood up and stumbled slightly but that was enough for Ellanora to pick her up bridal style and carry her to the bedroom she was staying in. "Your alright love" Nora whispered as Hayley looked up at her, Nora had to look away because the way the pregnant brunette was looking at her made her knees feel weak.

I actually really like this chapter but I like the next one more, I also think I'm going to make Nora a sister figure to Davina because I think her and Davina being really close will be cute because of Kol and Davina.
