"I-I no... What are you," the man tripped over his own feet as he fell backward as he tried to scramble away as best as he could. Hikari did not have an ounce of remorse or mercy, however, he did know the value of this man to him. "Where is she," Hikari said his voice as cold as the steal of his sword that was pressed against the man's throat. "Who w-what..." his poor attempts for excuses and falsities died on his lips as he gazed at a man who could as easily be confused for death itself. The lack of a face made it all the more intimidating as there were no eyes to stare back just the unnerving sensation of a predator boring down on its prey.
"Leona-" was the only word he was able to get out before his head was cut clean from his body, Hikari having gained adequate information didn't need him to stick around. The body fell limp to the floor like a sack of potatoes. "Hikari shouldn't you have maybe asked that guy further questions," Perceval spoke up in his mind. "I simply lack the time and patience besides we are not too far from Leona, that was perfectly adequate information," Hikari stated already turning to walk in the direction of Leona. "Hate to burst your bubble but you have been on the road for at least 3 days since leaving Leona, how are you going to get there without some greater level of teleportation," Perceval asked genuinely confused. That is until he felt a draw on his power.
"Oh, you already familiar with channeling magic hm?" Perceval asked matter of factly. "Light Breathing From 5 Flash," Hikari invoked an ancient form taught to him when he was a young boy. Purple flames infused his body as his blade shined a brilliant white rivaling the sun it is brightness. Perceval didn't think it was possible for him to experience whiplash, however, he was proven sorely mistaken, as Hikari became one with the blade he held driving it through the air as if it had no mass or density. The slash carried him through the forest and a small town on the way to Leona in seemingly an instant as the background seemed to move by Hikari as he completed the slash in slow motion. When the slash concluded it dug a large divot into the Earth as Hikari and Perceval found themselves in the middle of a large city.
"Thank you, Perceval, it seems your power is supplementing what I have lost all those years ago allowing for me to reach a tenth of my peek performance, clearly I have fallen out of practice. Regardless we should look to find where Sophie is," Hikari said his voice changing from one of pleasant surprise back to cold steel towards the end. "One I hate you, two I think the trouble you were looking for has already found you," Percival noted as he marked each of the 20 figures just outside of Hikari's field of vision. It seemed like 10 mage types and then 10 swordsmen, Hikari could guess that they were expecting company. Thankfully the streets were empty so he didn't have to worry about hurting innocent people physically or mentally for that matter.
"Hikari do you remember Sophie's demon cloak," Perceval asked as the figures encroached further and further Hikari still stood unmoving. "Yes I do," he responded simply, upon acknowledging the demon's words purple flames encased Hikari's entire being, however instead of being a temporary effect before disappearing there were some residual effects. Where the absence of Hikari's head was two orbs of purple fire burned where his eyes should be. The tuffs of Hikari's clothing left streaking purple lighting in their wake, and all could feel the presence of a demon rest upon them. "Thank you, Perceval," Hikari said simply as he took a step towards where the majority of enemies were located, the bricks underfoot becoming scorched by the heat terminating from Hikari.
As the 5 mages and 5 swordsmen appeared in Hikari's vision he noticed the perfectly kept uniforms they all shared as the orbs of fire darted from one side of the vacuum under his hat to the other analyzing every detail. Including the 3 balls of flames that were thrown at him that Hikari easily dodged only moving ever slightly the balls of flame flying off course and leaving large craters in the Earth where they struck. It was those who carried blades turn to strike next as three of the people with bladed weapons came at Hikari, one with a dagger, one with a sword, and one with a spear. Having to get on the defensive Hikari jumped back slightly out of the way of the man with a dagger who cut the very tip of Hikari's shirt. As he did the man with a sword swung from the side forcing Hikari to bend his body full backward leaving him exposed to a third attack as he was out of midair options.
