y/n, mc and reader are all different. like reader is you. y/n is you but the story is written like an oc you can change and are if youre in 2016 terrible (no offence to anyone) and mc is used in otome games like obey me (i should add that in tags) and dangerous fellows which is an oc you can customise, theyre all different but workthe same. theyre like cousins cause theyre all written differently yanno
