Kylo had his comforts. Sappy Holo-Drama, Ice cream, and a weighted blanket. He let himself decompress, in a way.

Of course though, as the Leader of the Knights of Ren, The Supreme Leader's apprentice, he had to keep up some sort of appearance. Not to say that Snoke didn't know, but he let him do as he pleased. Kylo would be gone for months on end for missions anyway, and it wasn't like he had anyone else. The least he could do for himself was rot his mind of mindless Holo. No one cared.

Although, who apparently did seem to care was General Hux. Blast that man, constantly sending a Ping every five minutes to do the stupid report. As if he wasn't doing anything. He swore the man had never relaxed once in his life. Always work, work, work.

Kylo didn't know why he cared so much anyway. Honestly, he could just throw the man out of an airlock for all he cares but he doesn't.......... for reasons. They used to be this weird form of rivals, but now he thinks they respect each other. Or Hux doesn't yell at him every time he brings something up to High command. Progress.

It was no secret to himself that Kylo tolerated the man. With his stone-cold face............ his piercing green eyes.........and that beautiful shade of orange hair-.

No. he just respected the man. That was it.

It had been a long day. He had just come back from a not so successful mission. They had lost a lot of troopers and potential information leading to the Resistance. He had heard about it enough from Hux.

He dramatically plopped himself on his bed, tub or ice cream in his hands, flipping through his pad to land on some random Holo-drama he'd been watching.

It was one with two Twi'leks. One a planet hopping spy and the other a high-class dignity. The spy was of course strong willed, hot headed but was soft when they willed it. And the dignity, calm and collected, levelheaded, but with a dark past that needed to be unlocked.

Ok so maybe he got way too into these things. He knew it was just a Holo, but he could help but self-insert.

Hux was clearly the Dignity, so oblivious but smart at the same time. And Kylo was the spy or had the attributes of the spy. He couldn't stop himself from thinking.

Love will make you weak

Kylo sighed and refocused. What was he doing? Honestly it wasn't like Hux felt the same and with who they were anyway, it was fruitless.

He stabbed the spoon into his ice cream container and took out a huge scoop, shoving it into his mouth. This was a relaxing time, and that is what he would do.

Until about fifteen minutes later, when he got a ping from the devil himself.

It was Hux.

Sending him a reminder about the damn report.

Again.

Kylo sighed dramatically, moving to his desk to maybe actually consider doing the report.

He opened the tab on his Pad, hovered over the basic keyboard, then stopped. He checked the time. It was three o'clock standard time, in the morning. What the hell was Hux doing up?

He pulled on his cloak, conveniently left the data Pad on his desk, and stormed out of his room, making his way to Hux's quarters.

He knocked for about the third time until he saw the door slit open, showing Hux standing there with the most ridiculous expression he's ever seen on the man.

"Ren, what are you doing here?"

What was he doing here again?

"I uh, why are you still awake at three in the morning?"
