Ivy got up at 6:00 am to prepare for the first full cast read through. Today she would be finding out who is playing the other characters. All she knew was that she was playing Nick Nelson's twin sister. By 8:30 Ivy had drunk two coffees to calm her neves as her dad parked his car behind the building. Ivy meddled with her fingers nervously.
"Ivy you are going to fine , you are so talented. They wouldn't have cast you if you weren't" her dad spoke softly.
Ivy only nodded to captivated by her nerves. Ivy was diagnosed with anxiety when stranger things got more attention. The media and paparazzi were so invasive and ignorant. They constantly reminded her she was stuck in her fathers shadow. The great Tom Hiddleston.
Her dads voice broke her out of her trance "I've got a meeting today so I won't be able to get you , I'll send Annie if you want" he offered. Ivys dad was always busy , he was rarely home and when he was , he was working non stop.
" I'll get the bus or something. I'll let you know when I'm home safe. I love you" she called as she slammed the car door shut. Ivy was on Instagram when she got a dm from one of her friends Will Gao. The two had grown up in the same area and became fast friends over their love for music.

Ivy ran through the parking lot looking for a certain 6ft actor . She spotted his straight black hair peeping over a white convertible. She picked up her pace , jumping onto Wills back with so much they almost toppled over. Ivy jumped down as Will turned to face her.
"You're so short" he remarked with a smirk
"That's the first thing you say after not seeing me for months . Just shut up and give me a hug you giant". Will immediately hugged Ivy , slightly lifting her of the ground.
"Are you ready Milady" he said in a very posh accent while holding out arm for her to take.
"I am My Lord" Ivy took his arm as they swiftly glided into the building like they were in Bridgeton.
They managed to finally get through security into a massive school gym , large protection gear was set up across the room to minimise covid contractions. Ivy pulled her stranger things mask further up her face as she was also given a face shield. There were chairs set up in a circle around the room with everyone's characters name and script on a chair. Ivy scanned the room looking her character name ' Avery Nelson'.
"Ivy Hiddleston " a voice sung out. She quickly turned to face a girl similar to her age. She has short brown hair and the most gorgeous blue eyes she had ever seen.
"I'm sorry , do I know you?"
"Oh god of course not but I'm massive fan." The girl noticed startled look on her face " I'm so sorry for bombarding you like this. "I'm Rhea Norwood". Ivy shook Rheas hand gently.
"It's lovely to meet you" she smiled. Ivy knew she'd grow really close with her. "You're really pretty" Ivy blurted out. Rhea looked to floor a blush dancing across her cheeks. "I'm sorry I have no idea why I said it , I mean I know why I said because you .."
"Ivy it's ok , I think we're sat next to each other , wanna sit?"
"Definitely" the pair linked arms. Ivy turned round and caught the gaze of a certain boy from her past. The boy felt someone's gaze on him so he turned his head. The two stared at each until the director told everyone to take their seats.
Everyone began to introduce themselves and who's they'd be playing. "Hi everyone I'm Ivy Hiddleston and I'm playing Nick Nelson's twin sister Avery Nelson." She smiled.
"Hi I'm Kit Connor and I'm playing Nick Nelson" he beamed , catching ivys eyes once more.
The director Euros announced "Welcome everyone to the beginning of Alice Oseman's Heartstopper".
