" A person can't feel emotions unless they meet their soulmate whilst the other half of the pair can't seem to see colors. You will immediately feel a drastic change in your mood when you finally meet. "

Logan and Patton were best friends when they were younger. They had no clue of the concept of soulmates until long after they separated. Logan Windsor had to move cities for his father's job, leaving Patton Hazelwood alone back in their hometown. Logan's emotions started to fade as well as Patton's colorful world. The slow change made them think that they haven't met their soulmates yet.

"Oh gosh, what if I mess up?! What if they don't like my attitude. What if they don't accept me?" Patton panicked as he quickly tried to button up his white dress shirt. Roman sighed at the sight of his friend; he had been listening to him ramble about his job interview for hours on end. Growing tired of the ranting, Roman stood up from Patton's bed and placed his hand on his shoulder, squeezing it comfortingly. It made Patton abruptly stop and look up from what he was doing. Roman examined his face. You could see that boy was distressed. He looked as if he was on the verge of crying. His messy hair, his weak expression, the way he winced at the sudden physical contact.

Roman gave the curly-haired boy a reassuring smile. Patton's worried expression then softened at the heartening sight. "You're going to do great padre! You're more than qualified for this job." Roman then shifted his hand to Patton's collar, neatening it. "There's no need to worry so much. You've been preparing for this for a long time now. You're more than ready!" He dusted off Patton's shirt.

The blond boy stared at his friend. Roman's warm hazel green eyes never failed to soothe him. His smile was ever so gentle and genuine; you couldn't help but return it. Patton chuckled slightly. He was more than grateful to have a friend like Roman. He was never less than understanding towards him and his feelings.
