"Are you guys sure y'all really wanna do this? I mean, we could bail now and go bake a cake instead. Everyone likes cake." Killer asked as he shakily made his way up to the room with Dust and Horror. "K... we're more than sure. We're positive. Now come on. Stop being such a scaredy skely." Horror chuckled, elbowing his friend in the ribs.

"Alright, we should be fine. Cross is out on a mission, Nightmares out on patrol, Error is with the rascals, and the others are scattered around the multi-verses. Let's hurry up before anyone gets back." Dust whisper-yelled as they approached the door. He tried to open it but he was unsuccessful. "Killer, key." He said as he held out his hand. Killer hesitated but gave him the keys anyway. He slid the key in the door and slowly opened it.

"Alright, coast is clear. Come on." Dust said, walking in. "Wow this place is messy." Horror pointed out, picking up a dirty jacket off the ground. "Don't touch anything. He'll notice and then we're all busted." Killer said, bearly stepping foot in his room. Horror rolled his eyes and looked around.

"Hm, what's this?" He asked, picking the headband up off of the bed stand, "Kinda looks like Dream's but... different somehow." Dust hummed and looked over at him. "I don't know, I've never seen him wear it. Killer, you know anything about it?" Killer was still in the frame of the doorway, playing with his fingers. "I-I-I don't know. It's a-always been their. I asked about it once and he said no to question it." Killer stuttered.

"Why you still standin all the way over their. You're already here. Might as well get the full experience while you're here. Stop being a wimp." Killer sighed and shook his head. "Well, that's obviously worth something to him so just take note of that I guess. And Horror, stop touching stuff. If Nightmare finds out we were here, we're done for." Dust said, turning away. Horror growled and put the headband down.

"Hm, hey guys look at this." Dust said, moving the jacket that was hanging on one of the racks to reveal... A STAFF?! Since when did he have a staff? "A staff? Hm, interesting. I've never seen him use it." Horror said, walking up to Dust. "Noted; a staff we've never seen and a headband that looks similar to Dreams. Interesting. Let's continue looking around. Preferably for something like a journal or something. He's gotta have something around here that tells us a little bit about his past-"

"Is that so?" They all heard from the door. But it wasn't Killer. Killer gasped and ran into the room, turning to face the door. "B-Boss... what are you doing here, weren't you supposed to be o-on patrol?" Killer stuttered, backing up behind Dust and Horror. "I was, until I heard y'alls conversation earlier. You three have some serious explaining to do." Nightmare said, crossing his arms. Dust d lowered his head and pulled his hood over his face.

"Us?! Why do you have a staff? And how come you haven't shown us?" Horror yelled, picking it up. Killer yelped and backed up. "Horror, put. that. down. There's a reason why that was hidden." Nightmare said, uncrossing his arms and pointing at Horror. "Why, it can't be that bad. Ooo, what's this gem on that top?" Horror asked, tapping in the green gem. "Horror no-" Nightmare tried to say before a zap of lightning came out of it, hitting nightmare then bouncing off of him and hitting Killer.

Killer fell back and gripped the part of his torso he was hit and nightmare held a hand over his 'bad eye'. "Killer! Are you alright? How do you feel?" Dust asked, quickly bending down to check on him. "I'm alright. Just stunned." Killer said. Horror grit his teeth and put the staff down. "Oh...my bad." He nervously chuckled. "You three, my office NOW!" Nightmare yelled before teleporting off, presumably to his office.

"Horror! What have you done? You disobeyed boss and jepordized us losing Boss or/and Killer" Dust yelled at Horror once he made sure Killer was still ok. "Hey, it's not my fault he's keeping this thing sitting around. How was I supposed to know it's dangerous?!" Horror yelled, crossing his arms. "DOES IT MATTER?! Boss told you to put it down and what did you do, YOU DISOBEYED HIM AND HURT BOTH HIM AND KILLER!" Dust yelled again, shoving Horror back. Killer sighed and stood up. "WHY ARE YOU TAKING HIS SIDE?! WE'RE ALL IN TROUBLE DUMB ASS-" "I KNOW BUT WE WOULD'VE BEEN IN LESS TROUBLE IF YOU WOULD"VE JUST-"

"QUIET!" Killer interrupted them both. Killer never yelled. This was a first. "Boss told us to go to his office. Let's just go and get this over with. I can't believe I listened to you guys." Killer explained, walking out of this room with his fists clenched to his side. Dust pulled up his scarf in embarrassment and guilt. He felt bad for getting him in trouble now when he wanted nothing to do with this. He was so confident they weren't gonna get caught. He just wanted the main power three to actually hang out together for once. "Yea yea, whatever." Horror said, walking out of the room. Dust rolled his eyes and followed.

Once they arrived, they walked in to see NIghtmare sitting in his chair behind this desk with three chairs already in front of it. He had his serious face on so it kinda scared them. Horror immediately slumped down in his seat and crossed his arms, fully aware of what was coming next. Killer and Dust soon sat down gently beside him. Dust gulped nervously and held his scarf above his mouth.

"You three have some serious explaining to do. All of you know the rules, none of you are to step foot in my room unless instructed by me or something dire happens. What were you all doing snooping around my room?" Nightmare asked, leaning back in his chair. "I'm incredibly sorry sir. It's just I got really curious about your past and I thought it was only fair that we know yours since you know our so I kinda convinced them to help me try and find clues... about...you get it." Dust explained, lowering his head more. "So you thought it was ok to snoop around my room? I'm very disappointed in you, Dust." Nightmare said. Dust sighed and nodded his head. "Yes sir, I understand."

"And as for you Horror. I'm more than disappointed in you. Not only did you agree to go snooping in my room, no questions asked, but you also disobeyed me and missed with the staff anyway." Nightmare stated. "In all fairness, you kept it instead of getting rid of it. Who keeps something as dangerous as that?" Horror said, resting his head on his palm. Nightmare growled and leaned forward off of his chair. "That's none of your business. When I say to do something, you should do it.," He started.

"Now both of you are going to be scrubbing this castle top to bottom for the rest of the week. Capiche?" Nightmare growled. They both grit their teeth. That was the worst punishment in the castle. The next step up would be to kick both of them out of the castle altogether, and nobody their wants to be kicked out. "Y-yes sir." Dust sighed out, standing up. Horror stood as well. "Good, you two can start with the kitchen. It's filthy. Chop Chop." Nightmare commanded, clapping his hands. They both sighed and walked out.

"Now as for you-" Nightmare started. Killer looked at him scared. "I heard how they peer pressured you into doing this and technically you didn't really even enter my room so i'm not as mad at you." Killer sighed in relief. "However, you could've come and told me or simply walked away. So, I unfortunately have to punish you as well." Nightmare said gently. Killer sighed and nodded. "Yes sir, I understand. What will my form of punishment be?"

"You, Killer, will be going to help Error take care of the kids all weekend. You can come back Monday." Killer sighed and covered his face. "Oh no. I don't do good with kids." Killer complained. "I mean, if you wanna clean the castle with Dust and Horror arguing like siblings the whole time then-" "No! I mean, I'll help Error." Nightmare chuckled and snapped his fingers, teleporting him into Error's void. He sighed and looked around. "This is going to be... interesting.
