She heard a knock on her door
It was cathliel wearing her dress

Cathliel : wow y/n your dress its beutiful it really is a surprise!?

Y/n : thank you
You look beutiful yourself
I bet you'll steal everyones breath away when you enter the ball

Cathliel : oh stop
Your making me blush
Btw can you pls do me a favor

Y/n : sure what is it

Cathliel : the singer of tonight's ball is sick and cant attend and your the only one i know that has a beautiful voice

Y/n : you know i cant i get ner--

Cathliel : i know you get stage fright but please its really important to me

Y/n : (sigh)  fine ill do it but never again you got it

Cathliel: i know and thank you y/n
See you tonight at the party and dont go back at your room to early me and thranduil has something to say to you

As you closed the door you felt tears triying to escape your eyes you know that both of them are in a relationship even though it hurts you badly they are still your bestfriends and family

Because as a child you were adopted by humans you never knew who were your birth pearents but you felt hatread towards them because they abandoned you

You grew up in the forest where you love to explore and escape from the house from time to time
Because your human pearents were abusive and taking advantage of you by making you their slave and selling your blood for money wich they spent on liquor and on gambling but soon you had enough of them you finally got all of your hate and anger out
You killed your abusive pearents and burned you house making sure bothing is left although you were sgoked to see that there was a flame that came out of your hand but you shot it towards the house as it releases a f/c (fire color any color you want because it will be relayed to your aura or magic color sooner or later)

And thats how your love and intrest foe magic began but you hide this abilities as a kid so no one will try to kidnap you but as you gre older you forgot you can do magic but your intrest in learning it still remains

Back to the preasent

As you walked to the hall way you saw the entance the ball was beutiful and just went pass your expectation

You walked through the crowd to get back stage and prepare
The band was discussing what music to play and you recommend youro favourite song 'how about f/s '

Band member : thats not a bad idea

The other members nodded their head and agreed to your recommendation

You and the others wete stting up and preparibg the stage you saw thranduil and cathliel walk in while cathliel was clinging to thranduils arms

They also saw you and waved at your direction as you waved back while your heart started to break just by seeing them together it reminded you of the day you saw them kiss

And then the ball started the band was playing music while you were practicing back stage because you will sing when its time to slow dance you didnt mind not participate in the dance because you had no partner

And time came you sang your fav romantic song you know
And as every elf slowly started to dance at the middle but
Th only couple that keeps getting your attention was cathliel and thranduil
As you look at thranduils face all you see is pure happiness and love you never sa this expression of him when both of you spend time with each other

And finally you finnished singing but your heart started to break you wanted some alone time but you remembered  that thranduil and cathliel  had some thing to say to you even you already know what they will say

You found both of them at the balcony and went to them there was only you three up there you closed the door so that know one can hear

Thranduil: y/n we have sothing to say to you

As his face show pure happiness

Both thranduil and cathliel : were dating

Y/n : oh wow i knew you to would end up together as you said putting on a fake smile while fighting to hold back your tears from comming out

Cathliel : who knew that he liked me when we were kids and havent said any--

As you were on the edge of criying and your chest started to hurt

Y/n: im happy for you guys but im a bit tired fro preforming can i be excused

Tharnduil: ofc you look pretty tired

As you walked farther away from them you needed to be alone away from any one once you got out from the ball you started running towards your safe place the willow tree
And as you got closer tears started coming out  once you finally  reached the tree you cried  your heart out knowing no one can hear you since they are all at the party
As you fell to the ground criying your heart out

An hour later

your heart still hurts a lot but you stopped  criying you were tired 
you wanted to sleep
As you were about to stand up you heard a sound in the bushes
