We walked into the office and I sat at my desk then like every other day, started going through paperwork.

"Good morning, Colonel." Fuery walked up to my desk smiling in Roy's direction.

"Good morning, Fuery, what's got you in such a good mood?" He asked.

"Nothing in particular, just seems like a nice day." He set a stack of papers on my desk. "Johnson wanted me to give these to you." He furrowed his eyebrows, staring down at my hand. "Pretty ring, where'd you get it?"

I tilted my head, smiled and said, "My fiancée bought it for me."

His eyes slowly opened bigger and his lips turned up at the sides. "Since when were you two engaged?"

"Yesterday." Roy and I said in unison.

"The ring is beautiful, nice pick Roy, it fits her perfectly." Fuery sat down and Roy stood up.

He placed his hands on my shoulders and looked down at my papers. The others walked in and we said our hellos.

"Have any of you talked to Fullmetal?" He asked.

They all shook their heads.

"I'll have to call up Winry and see if she knows anything."

"Hey, Riza, is that ring new or have I just never noticed it." Havoc asked.

"Yeah, it's new. Just got engaged yesterday." I smiled and Roy wrapped his arms around my upper body.

They stared at us, shocked at what had been said. Fuery just smiled with us.

"You guys are engaged?" Havoc pouted. "I'm gonna die alone aren't I?"

"Congratulations!" Breda and Falman said together.

"Thank you." I nodded and looked down at my papers filing out what goes where.

"So when are you guys moving in together?" Breda asked.

"We did that yesterday too." I chuckled.

"We're really out of the loop here, aren't we? Why don't you guys ever tell us stuff?" Havoc whined. "We should throw a party."

Just as I said, "That wouldn't be necessary." Roy exclaimed, "That sounds like fun!"

We gave each other a look and everyone laughed at us. "You guys are cute, it's gross." Fuery gushed.

"Well are we having a party or no?" Breda asked.

"Whatever you want to do, Colonel." I shrugged.

"I say we should, we should have a barbecue and we uh-" Roy stopped and sighed. "We could even invite those neighbors you seem to like so much." He grumbled.

"You know I would've had them over anyway." I raised my eyebrows. "And what do you have against them anyway?"

"They're nosy!"

"It's called friendly, sir." I shook my head.

"You're wrong, I'm right." He looked away, crossing his arms.

"They're still coming and that's final."

"Get back to work."

"Maybe I wouldn't have so much work if you weren't such a slacker."

"I- will- you-" He stammered.

"Exactly. I literally have a file filled with your papers that you can do, but I know I'll end up with over half of them back because you procrastinate so much." I scolded him.
