Tears where streaming down Richies face as he
held Eddie close, him being his only source of comfort in that moment. He buried his face in the crook of Eddie's neck, getting his shirt wet but he didn't mind as he stroked Richie's back comfortingly.

Richie continued to cry, feeing like he was safe to with Eddie. "Are you okay now?.." Eddie asked still rubbing his back "mhm.." Richie let go of Eddie and wiped the tears off his face "Sorry about your shirt" he motioned to the wet spot on Eddie's shirt "It's okay, let's go back to the others." At that they both walked back to the group.

The Losers were walking home over the kissing bridge, Eddie in the lead, in the front by a lot because he left school first. Walking facing the rest of the group, sticking his tongue out at them and rubbing in their faces about how far he is ahead of them. When he ran into something behind him, he turned around quickly incase it was a person that he'd have to apologize to.

It was a person. The last person Eddie wanted to bump into, Henry Bowers. "Hey Dwarf! You're gonna pay for that!!" He yelled, making Eddie flinch at his tone and before he knew it he was pinned against the railing and taking a punch to the face.

"You little fag boy!" He spoke through his teeth, shaking Eddie violently and hitting the back of his head on the rails. Then, he suddenly calmed and pulled him close to his face, "Since you like boys so much, give me a kiss."

Eddie struggled, trying to get away from him but couldn't because of the position he was in. "Don't be shy~" at that Henry kissed Eddie forcing his tongue into his mouth, Eddie pulling his head back as far as he could to try and escape it but failed. Then, Henry was pulled away and fell to the ground "get the fuck away from him!" Richie had pulled Henry down by the back of his shirt while the rest stayed back, afraid to confront Bowers.

Richies then kicked bowers into the stomach hard. Eddie was in shock, trembling with tears rolling down his face then Richie hugged him tightly asking if he's okay over and over. Eddie didn't respond though, not knowing what to say but started walking again, faster then before.

Richie and the rest fallowed close behind, but eventually lost sight of Eddie.

Eddie walked into his house ignoring all the questions his mother was asking him. He went to his room shutting the door and laying in bed, his tear stained face facing the wall. He thought about the events of that day, eventually falling asleep with tears rolling down his cheeks and on to his pillow.
